Principal's Message 9.9.22

Principal's Message 9.9.22

Dear Parents,

Here are Prairie, the students are starting to find a groove and routine.  I found myself appreciating the little found moments throughout the building.  A classroom welcoming a new student to their class.  New friendships budding on the playground.  A student saying thank you to a friend for lending headphones for an assignment.  I am impressed with the kindness demonstrated by our young and experienced learners.

We have two opportunities for students to get involved!  Officer Essig has asked students for help in decorating his office.  Students are encouraged to submit friendly and welcoming signs.  Decorative signs can be turned into the main office until September 30th.  Students can also write letters or thank you notes for veterans.  The letters will be collected in the main office until October 13th.

As a reminder, the main office needs to be notified by noon of changes to dismissal plans.  Please include in the email the classroom teacher and our Clerical/Attendance Aide Mrs. Glassgow at [email protected].  We are continuing to have numerous last-minute changes which challenge our ability to communicate efficiently with classroom teachers and your child.

Kindly,

Christine Pfaff
