Booster's General Meeting is Wed., Apr. 25
The District 96 Band & Orchestra Boosters will hold their final general meeting of the 2017–18 school year at 6:30 PM in the Woodlawn Middle School band room, 6362 Gilmer Rd., Long Grove, This meeting is open to the public and all Booster members in good standing can be present to vote on agenda action items that will include the approval of the 2018–2019 operating budget and nominations for the 2018–2019 Board of Directors. News from the Positively Prairie Leadership Council
For the month of April, Prairie school is hosting a fundraiser to Shower a School with School Supplies. Please bring in new school supplies for donation. Crayons, markers, notebooks, and folders are a great place to start! The goal is to collect 429 supplies! This is the amount of students at Prairie School. We appreciate your help! Let the April Showers begin!
Community Day - Friday, May 25th
Community Day is an opportunity for you to spend time with your child during the school day. Your child will share with you assignments and projects they have done this year and you will participate in class team building activities together. We’ve designed a time to visit one of the three specials class (Art, Music, or P.E.) as well based upon your child’s choice. Families with multiple children attending Prairie will be grouped together. Family members age 18 and older are welcome to attend. Please RSVP here for this fun event.

FIFTH GRADE END OF THE YEAR CLASS PARTY
The end of the year party will take place on May 30th, 2018, from 12:20-2:45 pm. Special Lunch and Dessert will be provided from Culvers. Bizar Entertainment and Clowning Around will provide exciting entertainment. Please register on the membership toolkit to make your lunch, t-shirt and class gift donations.
