Principal's Message - January 27, 2022

1/28/22
TGIF…Twin Groves it’s Friday!

Important Reminder For All District Schools
As a reminder, all individuals present on school grounds must continue to wear a face covering consistent with Board of Education policy 4:182 until further notice.  Any individual's refusal to wear a face covering shall constitute a violation of the District's applicable rules of conduct and may subject the individual to disciplinary action or prevent the individual from entering or remaining on school district property.  We are hopeful that, in the not too distant future, conditions will be conducive to reducing our mitigation measures. Thank you for your continued cooperation as we begin to see a decline in our positive cases!

Geography Bee- Congrats!
Congratulations to our school GeoBee finalists! Jakub, Samantha, Maya, Aadhav, Yuqi, Raina, Josh, Aaditya, Charan, Sindhu, and Joey faced off in the finals. After a long back-and-forth to determine a third place winner, Joey beat Maya and Yuqi to secure the bronze medal. Charan and Jakub moved on to the championship round. In the end, Charan prevailed and is our 2021 GeoBee Champ!

Congrats!
In an effort to spread positivity, Twin Groves uses our 5 Traits to recognize exemplars of the following qualities: Responsible, Accountable, Respectful, Safe, and Community. In addition to the 5 Traits, we are also recognizing students for being leaders, role models, supportive peers, brave, and positive.

As part of this focus, the Twin Groves Staff would like to recognize the following students who consistently demonstrate these qualities.

Ahan Acharya
Trevor Day
Anna Deahl
Cameron Hinz
Saina Nayar
Buthaina Rahaby
Aleksandra Yusupov
Evelyn Zimbalist
