Spring Book Fair: Week of May 20
Our Spring Book Fair will be cashless, except for the last day. Students can use eWallets to shop the fair. Watch the blog for more information about how to set up an eWallet.

The book fair will also be open during the Ice Cream Social for parents and students to shop together.
GiftCrowd Available for End-of-Year Gifting
Hard to believe it is already early May. The end of the year will be here before we know it!
The PTO has set up GiftCrowd for Prairie families to use for end-of-year gifting. This is completely optional but offers a way to give directly to teachers and all the other staff in the building as you see fit. GiftCrowd will close at 11 a.m. on May 31, and all gifts are sent directly to staff and teachers. Teachers see who contributed but not how much.

Let's Celebrate 5th Grade Night Out
Save the date! From 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 30 is the 5th Grade Night Out with Ivy Hall at Just for Fun Roller Rink in Mundelein.
Tickets will be $20 per student, and this event will be chaperoned by PTO members.
Tickets include two slices of pizza, water, skate rental and a giveaway. Watch MTK for more information and to sign up!

Throughout the year, the PTO has gotten requests for contact information for your student's classmates. This directory is not maintained by the PTO, but can be found at the link below. You are able to sort by teacher, grade or school.

Ordered Yearbook, Dessert Day and Special Lunch?
Have you ordered your student's 2023-24 yearbook, signed up for Dessert Day Membership (once and done for the school year) and ordered special lunches? ALL these forms are available on MTK. Please remember, Special Lunch and Dessert Day forms do close in the days (sometimes longer depending on the vendor) leading up to the event in order for the PTO to place orders. We cannot accept late orders.

PTO Mission
While we host several fundraising events, the mission of the PTO is to have events where our children can have fun, parents can meet other parents and we can bridge the gap between school and home. We truly want to have a sense of community among all our families. We welcome you to the community and are so excited to have you become part of the family. When you sign up to attend events, buy Spirit Wear, participate in Dessert Day, Special Lunch, or donate, we are able to support our community in new and creative ways, including:
- supporting the school by purchasing needed Wish List items
- creating community among our parents, students, teachers, and staff
