Welcome Back to School, Everyone!
Here are some upcoming dates of note:
- Aug. 22nd: Welcome Breakfast for Staff - The PTO will be providing breakfast and snack items for the staff to welcome everyone back for the new school year. Be on the look out for how you can help!
- Sept. 8th: Back to School Bash (6-7:30 PM): Save the Date for our annual bash to welcome all Prairie families back to school. There will be fun games along with food and water to purchase on site (cash only). More information to come.
- Special Lunch: This happens once a month (on a Friday). The PTO brings in lunch from an approved outside vendor. We offer main items along with side options and water.
We will have more information for this on Membership Toolkit for Prairie Elementary School PTO ~ https://prairiepto.membershiptoolkit.com/login-form?r=%2F ~ around the start of school for you to purchase special lunch for your student. You will need to set up your MTK account in order to purchase. Make sure you also include/update your student's teacher and grade in your account.
- Dessert Day: This happens once a month (on a Friday). The PTO offers a variety of ice cream for the students to choose from.

- Yearbook: This year we DID NOT sell yearbooks through registration. Be on the look out for how you can purchase a yearbook for your student(s). The cost will be $25 per yearbook.

PTO Mission
While we host several fundraising events, the mission of the PTO is to have events where our children can have fun, parents can meet other parents and we can bridge the gap between school and home. We truly want to have a sense of community among all our families. We welcome you to the community and are so excited to have you become part of the family. When you sign up to attend events, buy Spirit Wear, participate in Dessert Day, Special Lunch, or donate, we are able to support our community in new and creative ways, including:
- supporting the school by purchasing needed Wish List items
- creating community among our parents, students, teachers, and staff
