Valentine's Day Staff Appreciation
Let's show the Prairie Staff how much they are appreciated on Valentine's Day.
The PTO is looking to provide breakfast and bakery items along with drinks for the staff on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. If you would like to contribute, but are unable to shop, the PTO can do the shopping for you. All you need to do is select cash donation and bring a check or cash to school, and we will purchase items for that day. 
All food and beverage items can be delivered to school on or before February 13. Any food items that will need to be refrigerated should be brought to school on February 13.
If you are donating cash, please bring it to school no later than Friday, February 10, so we can shop over the weekend.

The 1st - 3rd Grade movie night is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023. The PTO and the family volunteers are excited to bring this event back after not having it for a few years.

School Store Opens February 21
School Store officially opens during lunch on February 21, 2023.
This is a fun way for the kids to purchase cute school supplies and small toys at lunch. Most items cost between 25 cents and $1.50. Please send money with your child on School Store days. 
Kids love shopping at lunch! Please remember to send in your kiddos with smaller bills.
All proceeds support our PTO and the fun community events we plan.
Special Lunch on February 24
Special lunch will be on February 24, 2023, from Wiener Take All!

Check Out Updated Dessert Day Information
There’s still time to join in the Dessert Day Club Membership for the rest of the 2022-23 school year.
Pay only $10.50 for the rest of the school year, and get an ice cream dessert from Hershey's during a designated Dessert Day each month, through May 2023! 
Students will have a variety of frozen treats to choose from, and you won't need to remember to order each month. Once you purchase a membership, your child(ren) will be given a ticket on Dessert Day to use towards a favorite frozen treat, so you won't need to do anything else. No punch cards are necessary!

PLEASE NOTE: Dessert Day Club Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a student is absent or chooses to not participate in Dessert Day, he or she will not be given a refund or credit for the missed treat. Club Memberships have no cash value.

The new and improved Box Tops mobile APP uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to your school's earning online. Your school's. 
earnings are automatically updated online. Super easy to use! And no more clipping or forgetting to send in those Box Tops to school! But don't worry! We still are accepting the Box Tops you clip and send in, as well!
Prairie PTO Mission
While we host several fundraising events, the mission of the PTO is to have events where our children can have fun and parents can meet other parents, and we can bridge the gap between school and home. We truly want to have a sense of community among all our families. We welcome you to the community and are so excited to have you become part of the family.
When you sign up to attend events, buy Spirit Wear, participate in Dessert Day, Special Lunch, or donate, we are able to support our community in new and creative ways, including:
- supporting the school by purchasing needed Wish List items
- creating community among our parents, students, teachers, and staff
