STAFF APPRECIATION
Throughout the year the PTO would normally sponsor several staff appreciation events. While this year may seem different from previous ones, we would like to continue to show the staff how much we appreciate all their hard work. If at any time throughout the year you would like to donate to the Staff Appreciation Committee Fund, please feel free to do so. We will use the money for each of these events to purchase gift cards and/or actual gifts for the teachers. When school does resume in person, we will evaluate what we will be doing for the staff.
Our first staff appreciation event is Family Educator Conferences. Every year, with the help of Prairie families, the PTO would usually provide dinner, dessert, and beverages for the staff members during conferences. This year, even though we are having conferences remotely, we still would like to show the staff how much we appreciate all their hard work by purchasing $15 electronic gift cards for each. THE NEXT GENERATION OF BOX TOPS IS HERE. COMMITTEES
We have added a new committee position this year to help plan Dinner Nights Out. This is where we select a restaurant to go to on a specific day and our PTO receives back a percentage of the profits. We would like to have a few Dinner Nights Out throughout the year and would like a couple of parents to volunteer to help plan these events. YEARBOOK
We still will produce a yearbook for the kids this year! We would like to have one or more parents who are interested in helping sign up on our Prairie PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT.
