4th and 5th Grade Orchestra Extravaganza Concert

The 4th and 5th Orchestra Extravaganza Concert will take place on Thursday, May 9th at 6:30pm at Twin Groves. The concert will take place in the Large Gym. Students need to arrive at Twin Groves in their concert attire by no later than 5:30pm for tuning and warm-up. It is going to be a fantastic concert! We look forward to seeing you there!

MAP Testing

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Testing begins next week.  Both the math and reading assessments are given to all children.  This is part of the data we regularly collect to measure the performance and progress of your child.  We will use the MAP results in planning instruction for your child and for consideration toward placement for the 2019-2020 school year.  The best thing you can do is to make sure your child is well-rested and has a healthy breakfast, just like every day! MAP results do come home to parents, once the district has completed assessing for all children and reports are ready.  If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

It's Tick Season

We want to inform you that it is tick season and we have seen a few cases in the nurse’s office this week.  During recess, students are restricted from the prairie and wooded areas of the playground in an effort to minimize tick cases.  We ask your due diligence in checking your child for ticks and following up with your doctor if you choose to do so.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Strom, the school nurse.
