On Wednesday, November 7th, we are having our next Spirit Day.  It is going to be WACKY WEDNESDAY! Come to school with WACKY Hair, a WACKY hat, WACKY socks, WACKY outfit… you choose!


Halloween Festivities

Please see last week's blog post for all the details around our fun Halloween event.


4th and 5th Grade Orchestra Demonstration Concert

The 4th and 5th Grade Orchestra Demonstration Concert will take place on Thursday, November 1st at 7pm at Twin Groves. The concert will take place in the Large Gym. 4th Grade students need to arrive in the TG Orchestra Room and 5th Grade students need to arrive in the TG Band Room by no later than 6:00 pm for tuning and warm-up. All students need to be in their concert attire. It is going to be a fantastic concert! We look forward to seeing you there!


 

Student Arrival Time & Students Arriving Late to School

Please remember that student arrival time is no earlier than 8:10am unless your child is going to a scheduled club meeting. Supervision of non-club students begins at 8:10am. Thank you for following our morning protocol. Also, if your child is late to school, 8:30am or later, please bring them into school and sign them in for the day.  Thank you for your help.


PTO Points


1.  Monster Bash is tonight Friday, October 26th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.   We look forward to seeing everyone at this family-friendly event.  Admission is $10.00 per child, and adults are free.   Pizza, Popcorn, and water can be purchased for $1.00 each.   Jimmy Bag of Donuts will be selling delicious mini donuts for $3.00 for half a dozen and $5.00 a dozen.   Admission includes Trick-or-Treat hallway, games, and prizes galore, Fortune Telling, Tattoos and DJ and dancing provided by Bizar Entertainment 

2.  Chairperson/Volunteer Opportunities:
We are in need of two chairpeople for Movie Night (1st-3rd Grade is scheduled for 11.30.18 and  4th-5th Grade is scheduled for 1.18.19).  We have volunteers ready to assist but need chair people to help run the event.   Please contact Ivy Freeman ([email protected]) or Jenny Share ([email protected]) for more information.   

Volunteers are needed for the Book Fair (November 14th-20th, 2018),  Mother/Son Night (2.15.19) and Daddy/Daughter Dance (2.21.19)
Please sign-up on the Membership Toolkit to Volunteer and share these special events, which the kids love.
