If you've driven past school since Thursday you've seen our brand new U. S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon sign proudly displayed on the front of Prairie. Our pride still shines brightly for earning this accolade.
Parents of 5th Graders–Note this Event Date!
Mon., Apr. 16: The Transition to Middle School – a districtwide program for all parents of current 5th graders. Woodlawn Principal Greg Grana and Twin Groves Principal Jessica Barnes and a panel of current 6th-grade students will give you info you’ll want to know. This popular program is a great way to learn, get your questions answered, and benefit from student panelists' candid perspectives.
At Woodlawn Middle School, 6362 Gilmer Rd., Long Grove, 7 p.m., for parents of Country Meadows, Ivy Hall, Kildeer, and Prairie 5th graders.

News From the District 96 Band & Orchestra Boosters

20% of your pre-tax order benefits the District 96 Band & Orchestra Boosters! This fundraiser is valid from 5 – 8 PM at the Arlington Heights location at 806 W. Dundee Road for dine-in, drive-up, or carry-out orders (online orders not valid). This FLYER must be mentioned at the time of order.
Booster's General Meeting is Wed., Apr. 25
The District 96 Band & Orchestra Boosters will hold their final general meeting of the 2017–18 school year at 6:30 PM in the Woodlawn Middle School band room, 6362 Gilmer Rd., Long Grove, This meeting is open to the public and all Booster members in good standing can be present to vote on agenda action items that will include the approval of the 2018–2019 operating budget and nominations for the 2018–2019 Board of Directors. If you would like to provide input regarding your child’s class placement for the upcoming school year please complete the Prairie Class Placement Input 2018-2019 Survey. As you can imagine, we receive a lot of parent input, and verbal information is impossible to track. The information you provide in the survey will remain confidential between you and me.
