Spring Fling Is a Month Away
Spring Fling will be held Wednesday, March 15, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at Woodlawn Middle School.
Similar to the fall party, this is a student-only event. Spring Fling consists of games, music, food, photo booth and raffle prizes. Other new activities are being planned, so be on the lookout for additional updates throughout the month. Come join the fun!

Join Our 'New' Gift Crowd
Let’s show the Woodlawn teachers and staff our appreciation for their hard work and dedication to our children! We would like to offer GiftCrowd as an easy virtual way for parents and students to show appreciation to our school teachers and staff.

How Does It Work?
GiftCrowd will present you with a list of all Woodlawn teachers and staff. Click on “Join” next to the Teacher or Staff member to whom you wish to give a gift. Enter your name as you'd like it to be displayed to the teacher and your email address. You are welcome to include a personal greeting, as well as upload a photo and/or format your greeting as you wish!
Now you can leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on GiftCrowd to create personalized greetings for your gifts. GiftCrowd will suggest unique and thoughtful greetings that are tailored to the recipient. Enter your contribution amount of choice ($2 and up) and click “Add to Cart.”
Repeat this process for all the teachers and staff members you wish to gift. Then, enter your payment information and click on “Place your Order” to complete your transaction. On June 1, 2024, every gift recipient will receive an email indicating the total gift amount they received together with personal greetings from all the contributors. Each teacher and staff member will then be able to redeem his or her gift by selecting gift cards from hundreds of leading brands, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Sephora, Nike, Visa and many other fashion, travel, electronics, furniture, DIY stores, as well as restaurants and entertainment chains.

Still Time to Order
Did you miss Locker Set-Up Day or forget to Pre-order? There’s still time to order the following items:
Gym Clothes
A school requirement, gym clothes must be purchased through the PTO on Membership Toolkit. Orders placed will be distributed to students during their gym class.

Dessert Day
Our March Dessert Days are March 1 and March 8! Students have the option to place an order to receive a special treat during their lunch hours. Have you placed your child’s order? Did you know you can place for the entire year? If not, visit Membership Toolkit to place an order.
Order deadline to receive Dessert Day for each month is at least three (3) days prior to the Dessert Day date.
Volunteers Needed: We have two dessert days a month this year. Would you like to help the PTO serve dessert to students during lunch hours? Sign up on Membership Toolkit to volunteer at Dessert Day.
Special Lunch
Our Special Lunch from Real Urban BBQ is Friday, March 15. Students have the option to place an order to receive lunch from an outside vendor during their lunch hours. Have you placed your child’s April order for Papa Johns Pizza? If not, visit Membership Toolkit to place an order.
Order deadline for each month is the 15th of the preceding month. (Order by March 15 for April Special Lunch.)

* Please note, if you missed March Dessert Day and Special Lunch deadlines to order (February 15), your child will not be able to participate in March's events. However, you can still order Special Lunch and Dessert Day throughout the school year. Pre-order for the entire year or order monthly on Membership Toolkit.
