Spring Fling ~ Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this year’s Spring Fling event!

To all of the Spring Fling Volunteers and Committee Chair Members: Thank you for making it such an enjoyable event for our students!  We truly appreciate and thank you for all of your efforts and time dedicated to make it a successful event.

We are thankful every day for the wonderful classroom teachers, elective teachers, coaches, office staff, specialists, support staff and custodians at Woodlawn! Staff Appreciation Week is May 8 – May 12, and we have some special things in store for them.

 

School Supply Kits

It’s time to place your School Supply Kit orders for the 2023-24 school year! School Supply Kits can be purchased now through July 9, 2023, at http://www.educationalproducts.com/.

Orders are placed directly with our vendor, EPI.  ALL supply kits will be delivered directly to your home.

PTO General Meeting: May 16

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for our Spring General Meeting at 10 a.m.Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Join your PTO Executive Board, Principals, and other PTO members to learn more about what your PTO has planned the remainder of this academic year and next. The General Meeting will be held in the Woodlawn School Learning Center.

 

New Parent Coffee Is May 16

For all incoming 6th Grade parents and anyone new to Woodlawn for the 2023-2024 upcoming school year:  Join us at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023.  Enjoy coffee with fellow parents to learn more about the fun programs supported and funded by the PTO.

Tours will begin at 9:45 a.m. Connect with other parents and learn more about opportunities to be involved in your child’s school experience. Please let any friends with incoming 6th graders know about this program. We look forward to meeting you.

 

PTO Lunch Day: May 19

On Friday, May 19, students will enjoy a pizza lunch provided to all students, courtesy of the PTO:  This is to celebrate the end of the school year. There will be a volunteer sign-up on MTK as we get closer to the event.

There’s still time to order the following items: 

Gym Clothes 

A school requirement, must purchase through the PTO on Membership Toolkit ~ http://www.educationalproducts.com/Orders placed will be distributed to students during their gym class. 

Spirit Wear 

If you missed ordering spirit wear, CLICK HERE to visit our online store that will be open the remainder of the year. 

Dessert Day & Special Lunch

Thank you to all of our March PTO Parent Volunteers who helped pass out Dessert Day and  Special Lunch. We sincerely appreciate the contribution of your time to ensure Woodlawn  Students receive a wonderful treat monthly during lunch hours. 

Dessert Day

Students have the option to place an order to receive a special treat during lunch hours. Have you placed your child’s MAY order yet? If not, visit Membership Toolkit to place an order.  

ORDER DEADLINE FOR EACH MONTH IS THE 15TH OF THE PRECEDING MONTH (Order by April 15 for May Dessert Day) 

Would you like to help the PTO serve dessert to students during lunch hours? Sign  up on Membership Toolkit to volunteer at Dessert Day. 

Special Lunch 

Students have the option to place an order to receive lunch from an outside vendor during lunch hours. Have you placed your child’s MAY order yet? If not, visit Membership Toolkit to place an order.

* Please note, if you missed April’s Dessert Day and Special Lunch deadlines to order (March 15), your child will not be able to participate in April.  However, you can still order SPECIAL LUNCH and DESSERT DAY throughout the school year. Pre-order for the entire year or order monthly on Membership Toolkit.
