Happy Valentine's Day!

Thanks for the 7th Grade Lunch 

The PTO celebrated our 7th grade class with a free lunch on February 1, 2023.  Thank you so much to ALL our volunteers who made this a fun afternoon for our 7th Graders!

Open Positions:  Consider sharing your time and talents with the PTO!

The Woodlawn PTO Executive Board is looking to fill open board and committee chair positions for next school year. A list of available opportunities will be posted on Membership Toolkit (https://www.kcsd96.org/w/pto) on March 1.

Spring Fling Is Near

Spring Fling will be held from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Similar to Fall Party, this is a student-only event.  Spring Fling consists of an optional 3v3 Basketball and Ping Pong Tournament, music, food, photo booth and big raffle prizes!  Other NEW activities are also being planned, so be on the lookout for additional updates throughout the month of February.  Come join the fun!  

  • Online Sales:  Purchase your child’s $10 admission wristband and also the raffle ticket bundles for $10 for 11 tickets on Membership Toolkit (https://woodlawnmspto.membershiptoolkit.com) from March 3 to 11, 2023. (Wristbands will be distributed during lunch hours the day of the event. Raffle ticket bundles can be picked up during lunch hours on Monday, March 13; Tuesday, March 14; and Wednesday, March 15.) 
  • Lunch Sales:  Sales will occur Monday, March 13, through Wednesday, March 15. $10 admissions available for purchase and raffle tickets are $1 each or $10 for 11-ticket bundle. The last day to sign up to register for tournaments is Monday, March 13. (*The 3v3 basketball teams need to have all 3 team members present to register with completed registration forms and payment, during lunch sales.*) 

Come dressed as a superfan in Woodlawn spirit wear or a professional sports jersey to receive an extra raffle ticket.

  • Thank you to all of our January PTO parent volunteers who helped pass out Dessert Day and Special Lunch. We sincerely appreciate you contributing your time to ensure Woodlawn students receive a wonderful treat monthly during lunch hours. Dessert Day Would you like to help the PTO serve dessert to students during lunch hours? Sign up on Membership Toolkit to volunteer at Dessert Day.

* Please note:  If you missed February’s Dessert Day and Special Lunch deadlines to order (January  15), your child will not be able to participate in February.  However, you can still order Special Lunch and Dessert Day throughout the school year. Pre-order for the entire year or order monthly on Membership Toolkit (https://woodlawnmspto.membershiptoolkit.com ).

  • Students have the option to place an order to receive a special treat during lunch hours. Have you placed your child’s MARCH order yet? If not, visit Membership Toolkit (https://woodlawnmspto.membershiptoolkit.com) to place an order.  
    • ORDER DEADLINE FOR EACH MONTH IS THE 15TH OF THE PRECEDING  MONTH (Order by February 15 for March Dessert Day) 
  • Students have the option to place an order to receive lunch from an outside vendor during lunch hours. Have you placed your child’s FEBRUARY order yet? If not, visit Membership Toolkit to place an order.
