Thank you to those who joined us at Locker Set Up night! It was great to see friends old and new.
Thank you Hospitality Volunteers…Thanks are in order to all the volunteers who helped to set up the “Welcome Back” hospitality lunch for our teachers and staff. It was a great way to show our Woodlawn Staff how much we care.
Thank you 6th Grade Lunch Volunteers. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered during the Welcome to Woodlawn lunch for our 6th graders. The kids enjoyed their lunch and Woodlawn Water bottle and seeing their parents! We hope you had a good time as well.
If your 6th grader was absent or did not receive a 6th grade favor, please let us know, as we have extras available.
Still Time to Order
Did you miss Locker Set-Up Day or forgot to pre-order?
There’s still time to order the following items:
- Gym Clothes
A school requirement, gym clothes must purchase through the PTO on Membership Toolkit. Orders placed will be distributed to students during their gym class.
- Spirit Wear
If you missed spirit wear ordering, visit our online store 
that will be open the remainder of the year.
- Dessert Day
Our first Dessert Day is September 23 for Mencheie’s Frozen Yogurt. Students have the option to place an order to receive a special treat during lunch hours.

First Special Lunch Is September 16
Our first Special Lunch, on September 16, will be from Culver’s. Students have the option to place an order to receive lunch from an outside vendor during lunch hours.

Please Note: If you missed September’s Dessert Day and Special Lunch deadlines to order ~ August 15 ~ your child will not be able to participate in September. However, you can still order SPECIAL LUNCH and DESSERT DAY throughout the school year. Pre-order for the entire year or order monthly on Membership Toolkit.

PTO GENERAL MEETING: 9 a.m. Tuesday September 20
If you're interested in learning more about our PTO and all that we do, please mark your calendars for our first PTO General Meeting of the year at 9 a.m. September 20. Join us in the Learning Center to hear all the exciting events, this year’s PTO Executive Board, has planned to benefit the school and your children. Learn how you can be a part of it all. We hope to see you there.
WOODLAWN FALL PARTY: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 26
The PTO hosts a Fantastic Fall Party every year that is open to all current Woodlawn students. Please save the date on your child’s social calendar, as this is an event he or she will not want to miss! Stay tuned to future blogs for more details. Please let us know if you have any questions.
