Staff Hospitality Conference Meal – Thank You!!!
Thank you to our PTO Staff Hospitality Committee for planning a special dinner for teachers and staff members to enjoy during conferences.

Dessert Day & Special Lunch
Thank you to all of our November PTO Parent Volunteers who helped pass out Dessert Day and Special Lunch. We sincerely appreciate the contribution of your time to ensure Woodlawn students receive a wonderful treat monthly during lunch hours.
REMINDER: If you missed the deadline to order December’s Dessert Day and Special Lunch opportunities, you can still order SPECIAL LUNCH and DESSERT DAY throughout the school year.
ORDER DEADLINE FOR EACH MONTH IS THE 15TH OF THE PRECEDING MONTH. (Order by Dec. 15 for January Dessert Day and Special Lunch).

Volunteer Spotlight
This month, we would like to introduce you to our Special Lunch committee members: Lindley Caldwell, Mary Petros, Teresa Nagrani, Jordana Fox and Sarah Boundy. These ladies do a fabulous job organizing one of our biggest fundraisers (and favorite treat) for all our students.
Lindley Caldwell has been an indispensable volunteer for Woodlawn, serving as chair on several of our committees. Lindley is well-organized, dependable, and has a heart for volunteering. She keeps our special lunch running like a well-oiled machine, organizing endors, placing orders and making sure everything runs smoothly behind-the-scenes.
Mary Petros organizes our volunteers for Special Lunch and Dessert Day. Mary is always happy to help out when she can and has served on SL committee for three ears. Her boys will be moving on to Stevenson next year, and we will be sad to lose such a great volunteer.
Teresa Nagrani, like Lindley, is an indispensable D96 fixture when it comes to running and/or helping out the PTO. Teresa helps organize tickets so all of the kids are able to get through lines efficiently, no easy feat when you see the number of kids coming through those lines.
Jordana Fox helps all the committee members stay organized and chips in, in many capacities, such as, helping order the sides and water each month. She is a reliable and helpful member of the special lunch committee.
We have also been fortunate to have Sarah Boundy jump in and help Jordana with water and sides during the first semester. As mentioned, she stepped in when she saw a need and is another great example of the wonderful community of volunteers we have here at Woodlawn.
If you help out on one of our Special Lunch days this year, you are certain to meet one or all of these ladies. They are always friendly and love to share their knowledge of our school. Make sure to introduce yourself and get to know them better: Each is awesome at making new people feel welcome.
We couldn’t do all our PTO is able to do without great volunteers like Lindley, Mary, Teresa, Jordana and Sarah! Reach out to us if you would like to get involved with leaders like the ones listed above. Joining in is a piece of cake. These ladies will show you the ropes and support you in any way you need!
January starts our search for PTO board members and committee members for the 2022-2023 school year. We would love to have you join us!
