New Parent Coffee at Woodlawn, 11 a.m. May 26, 2021

SCHOOL SUPPLY KITS 

School Supply Kits for the 2020-2021 school year go on sale May 3rd. To order your students' supply kit, visit www.shopttkits.com.

The HOMEPAGE  contains a RED search box: Enter Woodlawn’s account number ~ 10240 ~ and press ENTER. ALL supply kits will be delivered directly to your home in August. 

Guidance on Supply kits and descriptions: 

  • The Woodlawn Basic Kit contains all of the required schools supplies for a Woodlawn student in grades 6-8.
  • The Woodlawn Basic Kit with calculator is the basic kit ~ plus a TI-84 calculator.  This calculator is required for all 8th-grade students and all 7th-grade students who will be in Algebra 1. You can also purchase the calculator on your own, if you wish. 
  • The Woodlawn ILC Kit is for students enrolled in the ILC (special ed) program at Woodlawn.
  • A grade level does not need to be entered. Middle school kits are the same for every grade level (6-8.)

PTO GENERAL MEETING 

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for our Spring General Meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 18th. Join your PTO Executive Board, Mr. Grana and other PTO members to learn more about what your PTO has planned for the remainder of this academic year and next. This will be our General Meeting held via Zoom.

As we prepare for the 2020-2021 school year, we are especially in need of planning chairpersons for Staff Appreciation, Fall Party, Special Lunch and Dessert Day.

New Parent Coffee 

We will be hosting a virtual tour, presentation and question session in conjunction with Mr. Grana at 11 a.m. May 26th. This is for incoming 6th-grade parents and anyone new to Woodlawn. Join us to learn more about Woodlawn from the parent perspective and learn about the fun programs supported and funded by the PTO. Make connections with other parents and maybe find a way to be involved. We look forward to meeting you. Please let any friends with incoming 6th graders know about this program.

PTO Volunteer Spotlight 

This month, we would like to recognize all our board members who have worked this year to celebrate our students and teachers:

We would also like to recognize Debbie O’Hara and Lisa McInerney for setting up our online spirit wear stores this year. We really appreciate all your hard work and the creative designs you created for our school community!
