WOODLAWN FALL PARTY UPDATE/RAFFLE BASKET SALES

Due to COVID-19, the Fall Party will not be held this year. To give students something to look forward to reminisecent of Fall Party, the PTO will sponsor raffle baskets. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the Woodlawn PTO Membership Toolkit in October. Exact sales dates are TBD. Stay up to date on our PTO social media accounts, where details on raffle ticket sales will be announced. Pictures of raffle baskets will be posted in coming weeks.

FRESHMEN STUDENTS/WOODLAWN CLASS OF 2020

Do you have a freshman student who participated in the Woodlawn 88th-Grade Celebration Car Parade last spring? The Woodlawn PTO took photos and hired an aerial photographer to take video footage and compile a montage. The montage is now available for parents to view HERE.

If you would like a downloadable file as a keepsake, please contact Yvonne Wendland or Alissa Morrow.

Congrats again to the 8th-Grade Class of 2020. We hope you and your family enjoy this special keepsake!

PARENTS' ONLINE WOODLAWN PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT SYSTEM

Don't forget, the Woodlawn PTO database system called Membership Toolkit is available. To avoid missing deadlines, please take a few minutes this week to log in to your Membership Toolkit Account. Returning users must verify parent and student information. If you are new to Woodlawn and have an account through your elementary school, please use the same email address and password.

Membership Toolkit allows payment through PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

If you need instructions to create an account or assistance in using Membership Toolkit, please contact Membership Toolkit Manager Jinny Baw.

Here are some of the items we will be offering this year through Membership Toolkit:

  • Woodlawn yard signs ( a small amount of extras are available to purchase until they are sold out)
  • Links to order new Woodlawn spirit wear
  • Raffle baskets for the student body (to be offered periodically during the school year)
  • Volunteer opportunities as they arise
If Woodlawn returns to in-person learning at any point, we will return to offering some items and volunteer opportunities, annually offered or purchased through Membership Toolkit. Updates will be provided in our monthly blog. Stay tuned!

HAVE YOU ORDERED YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT WEAR?

Don't miss out on all the new COVID designs. A variety of apparel is available for purchase on the Woodlawn PTO Membership Toolkit.

PTO COMMITMENT TO WOODLAWN

The Woodlawn PTO is committed to supporting Woodlawn staff, students, and community during this very difficult time. We are devoting efforts to programs and events that promote community and connectedness during the 2020–21 school year. As such, we will prioritize donated funds on the following:

  • to support students in new and creative ways
  • to recognize and support teachers and staff
  • to support the school by purchasing needed Wish List items
This year your donations are more important than ever, as the PTO will continue to support as many programs as possible without the income-generating programs we normally offer.

Together, we can sponsor many programs for our students, stff, and families.

Please consider making a donation today.

All donations are greatly appreciated! You will receive an email receipt for tax records.
