NEW PARENT TOUR AND COFFEE
Attention all parents of incoming 6th graders and anyone new to Woodlawn!
The PTO is sponsoring a virtual new parent tour and coffee on May 15 at 1 PM. Take an afternoon coffee break and watch a virtual tour of the Woodlawn building conducted by Mr. Grana, Woodlawn principal, and Mrs. Garlick, Woodlawn assistant principal.
We will have a Q&A opportunity with a panel of Woodlawn parents to learn more about Woodlawn, the middle school experience, and ways to get involved in the upcoming school year. SEE DETAILS

SCHOOL SUPPLY KITS
July 10 is the DEADLINE to order School Supply Kits for the 2020–2021 school year.
To order your student's supply kit, visit www.shopttkits.com The HOMEPAGE contains a RED search box. Enter Woodlawn's account number 10240 and press ENTER. ALL supply kits will be delivered directly to your home in August.
Guidance on Supply Kits and Descriptions
- The Woodlawn Basic Kit contains all of the required school supplies for a Woodlawn student in grades 6–8.
- The Woodlawn Basic Kit w/ calculator is the basic kit plus the TI-84 calculator. This calculator is required for 8th-grade students and for all 7th-grade students who will be in Algebra 1. You can purchase the calculator on your own, if you wish.
- The Woodlawn ILC kit is for students enrolled in the special education program at Woodlawn.
- There is no need to enter a grade level. Middle school supply kits are the same for grade levels 6–8.
SPRING FLING RAFFLE BASKETS
The following Spring Fling Raffle Baskets will be raffled off during morning announcements starting May 11 for those who purchased raffle tickets prior to the stay-at-home order. Mr. Grana and Mrs. Garlick will announce 2–3 raffle basket winners daily, until all baskets winners have been selected. Parents of the winners will be notified via email to arrange for delivery.

• 8TH-GRADE GRADUATION LAWN SIGNS
Thank you to everyone who ordered lawn signs for their 8th-grade student. Signs will be delivered to your home address mid-May.
If you missed he deadline and would still like to order a sign, we have a few extra available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Laura LaCroix for more information.
• STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
Thank you to everyone who provided a handmade sign, note, selfie, or video for our amazing Woodlawn teachers and staff. Your help in celebrating Staff Appreciation Week this past week is greatly appreciated!
