FALL SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR – SAVE THE DATE, Nov. 19–22
Woodlawn will be hosting its Scholastic Book Fair this fall in the Learning Center. Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings kids the books they want to read. We'll receive a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level and all purchases benefit our school!
Our ONLINE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR will be open 24/7 from NOV. 13–26, 2019. Parents, teachers, and students who cannot attend the book fair still can order through our online fair during these dates. We still receive credit for these online purchases and all purchases are delivered to the school.
NEW THIS YEAR: E-WALLET– a prepay option for students. Give your child a secure, cash-free way to shop the Book Fair. Simply create an account, preauthorize a spending limit, and have funds immediately available. Set up an account for each child now through Nov. 22.

STAFF HOSPITALITY FAMILY EDUCATOR CONFERENCES MEAL
November conferences are upon us! Our PTO Staff Hospitality Committee is planning a special dinner for teachers and staff members to enjoy during Family Educator Conferences.
We invite you to consider contributing today by visiting the Woodlawn PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT to make a donation. Donations are greatly appreciated. We thank you for your time, support, and contributions.
LEIDER'S GIFT CERTIFICATES
Start planning your holiday flowers. Purchase Leider's Gift Certificates and support your Woodlawn PTO! Visit the Woodlawn PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT to purchase a Leider's Gift Certificate (20% of the proceeds benefit the Woodlawn PTO). Certificates are available in denominations of $25 or $50. Winter greens and poinsettias are now available. Leiders will be open Nov. 11 – Dec. 15.

Thank you to all of our October PTO Parent Volunteers who helped pass out Dessert Day and Special Lunch. We sincerely appreciate the contribution of your time to ensure Woodlawn students receive a wonderful treat monthly during lunch hours.

WOODLAWN FALL PARTY
Fall Party was a huge success!!! Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped before, during, and after the party!!! We truly could not hold an event of this capacity without the help of numerous volunteers. Thank you to all our Woodlawn parent/caregiver volunteers, Stevenson High School student volunteers, and Woodlawn Staff who dedicated their time to make this a fun event for all!
A special thank you to our PTO Fall Party Committee Chairs who started preparations months prior to the event: Sarah Baker, Margaret Hettiger, Jana Maciag, Alissa Morrow, Kruti Parkash, and Yvonne Wendland. We added various entertainment stations and special treats for the kids to enjoy this year! There were so many options within the 2-hour timeframe, the kids couldn't possibly make it to every station! However, students will have the opportunity again to experience many of the vendors and more next year! Thank you, everyone, for your support!
