Fall Mums are in season and this is the perfect time to purchase Leider's Gift Certificates and support your Woodlawn PTO! Don't miss your chance to ESCAPE from Woodlawn! Join us as the PTO presents Woodlawn's Annual Fall Party ESCAPE FROM WOODLAWN for Grades 6–8 on Oct. 23, 6–8 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale Mon., Oct. 7, in the Woodlawn PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. Online sales end Sun., Oct. 20. However, sales continue during LUNCH PERIODS Oct. 21–23.

All students who attend have a chance to win RAFFLE PRIZES! Raffle Tickets can be purchased online as a bundle of 12 tickets for $10. After online sales close, Raffle Ticket purchases can be made at the party and during LUNCH PERIODS Oct. 21–23 for $1 each, or in the bundle option $10 for 11 tickets. Please note: Raffle winners must be present to win.
- Students who wear a costume will receive an extra Raffle Ticket at the door. COSTUMES are optional, but encouraged!
- 8th graders who attend receive an extra Raffle Ticket and Escape Room priority.

• Fall Scholastic Book Fair – SAVE THE DATE – Nov. 19–22
Woodlawn PTO will host the Scholastic Book Fair in the Learning Center in November. Our PTO Scholastic Book fair is a reading event that brings kids the books they want to read. We'll receive a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. All purchases benefit our school!
Our ONLINE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR will be open 24/7 Nov. 13–Nov. 26. Parents, teachers, and students who cannot attend the Book Fair can order through our online Fair Nov. 13–26. The Woodlawn PTO will receive credit for online purchases and all purchases are delivered to the school.
NEW: Orders will ship directly home. Orders over $25 get free shipping.

• PTO General Meeting
The PTO Executive Board would like to thank all Woodlawn parents who attended our first PTO General Meeting on Sept. 20. We had an amazing turnout of a wonderful group of parents who joined us to learn all the events scheduled for this year. We appreciate your participation, questions, and feedback provided during the meeting.
We also welcome and sincerely thank Elizabeth Owens who kindly offered to serve as Treasurer on the Executive Board for the 2019–20 school year. We have a wonderful and supportive PTO this year and are excited to work with everyone for the benefit of our amazing Woodlawn Community.
