We have assembled our Nominating Committee and are now looking to fill several open positions for both our Executive Board and for Committee Chairpersons for the 2019–2020 school year.

2019–2020 SCHOOL SUPPLY KITS SALE 

It's that time of year again–School Supply Kits for the 2019–2020 school year are available for purchase beginning TODAY (Mar. 1).

Order a supply kit for your child TODAY and it will be ready for pick-up at LOCKER SET-UP DAY at Woodlawn in August. CLICK HERE TO ORDER YOUR KIT

The PTO will accept orders for school supply kits through May 31, 2019. Once the sale closes, you will NOT have another opportunity to purchase a school supply kit. DON'T DELAY–ORDER NOW!

The Woodlawn PTO Staff Hospitality Committee asks for your Spring Conferences Dinner donations. See details below in ANNOUNCEMENTS/ACTIVITIES.

DESSERT DAY and SPECIAL LUNCH

Woodlawn Parents, if you missed Dessert Day and Special Lunch opportunities for March (orders were due by Feb. 15), you still can order SPECIAL LUNCH and DESSERT DAY for April and May in this school year.

DESSERT DAY : Mar. 15 - Menchies
SPECIAL LUNCH : Mar. 21 - Papa John’s

Please Note: The Deadline Date is on the 15th of every month for the following month’s event. To place your order for April and May, log in to the Woodlawn PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. 

LEIDER’S GIFT CERTIFICATES

Are you looking for the perfect Valentine's gift for someone special? Consider buying a Leider's Gift Certificate and support your Woodlawn PTO! Visit MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT to purchase your Leider's Gift Certificate! 20 percent of the proceeds benefits the Woodlawn PTO. Certificates are available in denominations of $25 or $50! Leider's is currently closed, but will open up again in the spring.

SCHOOL STORE

The Woodlawn School store was open this week to sell special Valentine’s Day treats. Thank you to all the parents who sent in money with their students to support this fundraiser. Thank you also to the parents who help run this store every month!

Don’t forget The PTO School Store for any supplies your student needs to replenish. The School Store is open on the first Tuesday of every month. Remember to send money with your student! Contact Jennifer Uremovich with any questions.

ANNOUNCEMENTS/ACTIVITIES

• Staff Hospitality – Spring Conferences Dinner

Spring Conferences are just around the corner and the PTO Staff Hospitality Committee will be providing dinner for all Woodlawn teachers on Thurs., Mar. 7.

Please consider making a donation to help cover the cost of this hospitality event. No amount is too small!!

The 7th graders will enjoy a special lunch and gift on Wed., Feb. 27, during their lunch period as they celebrate being “Halfway” through their time at Woodlawn. If you have a 7th grader and are interested in volunteering to help with this lunch, please contact Laura LaCroix. This is just one of the fun activities that the Woodlawn PTO provides to our kids. Thank you, parents, for your continued support!

SPRING FLING 2019: Wed., Mar. 20, from 2:30–5 PM

Bring on the Champions!!! It's time for the Woodlawn PTO's annual Spring Fling featuring 3v3 Basketball and Ping Pong Tournaments, games, DJ, food, and more–and the highlight of the event: RAFFLE BASKETS!

ALL GRADES are invited Wed., Mar. 20, 2:30–5 p.m. Tickets sold Mar. 13–20 during LUNCH periods. 
Note: The last day to REGISTER for 3v3 Basketball and Ping Pong Tournaments is Tues., Mar. 19.

All students who attend have a chance to win  RAFFLE PRIZES! Raffle Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. Raffle tickets sales are during lunch periods and during the Spring Fling. Please note: Raffle winners must be present.

Tickets are $10 per student, which includes one raffle ticket, food, and all activities.

If your son or daughter is interested in participating in the 3v3 Basketball Tournament, please complete the REGISTRATION FORM and turn it in when purchasing tickets.
