Thank you to all the parents who donated items for the Welcome Back to School Hospitality Breakfast served to the Woodlawn staff yesterday by our Hospitality Committee. If you missed out on this chance to bring food for our wonderful teachers and staff, know that there will be three other opportunities to help in this way during this school year.

(Note: At Woodlawn Middle School, you can order Special Lunch and Dessert Day throughout the school year. The deadline for ordering for a given Special Lunch or Dessert Day date is on or before the 1st day of the month in which the event occurs.)
ATTENTION PARENTS OF 6TH GRADERS
The Woodlawn PTO is hosting a Welcome to Woodlawn lunch on Wed., Aug. 29. All 6th graders will get a free pizza lunch with dessert and water.
If your child does not want the pizza lunch, he or she can bring lunch or buy lunch in the cafeteria.
All parents of 6th graders are invited and welcome to attend. We ask that you sign up in the Volunteer Registration Form in the toolkit. Log into PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT, click on the Volunteer Registration Form, and scroll down to Year-Round Opportunities–6th-Grade Level Parties.
SCHOOL STORE
School Store Opening Day is Sept. 4 during lunch hours. This is a great opportunity for your student to purchase any additional supplies he or she may need for a successful school year.
LEIDER'S GIFT CERTIFICATES
Fall mums will be out soon, so this is the perfect time to purchase your Ledier's Gift Certificate and support your Woodlawn PTO! Visit MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT to purchase your Ledier's Gift Certificates! 25% of the proceeds benefits the Woodlawn PTO. Certificates are available in denomonations of $25 or $50.
FIRST WOODLAWN PTO GENERAL MEETING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
SEPT. 26, at Woodlawn Middle School at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be served. Join us in the Learning Center to hear about the exciting events this year's PTO Executive Board has planned to benefit our school and your children. We hope to see you there!
