New students and families, welcome to Kildeer Countryside School District 96!
Students and families who are new to District 96 are invited to the Newcomer Welcome and Orientation, which will include a tour of the child's new school. The events also include a New Family presentation and a Q&A session.
The Grade 1-5 elementary schools host their Newcomer Welcome/Orientation on Friday, August 13, at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Families can choose which session they attend.
As most families are new to the District's Early Learning Center, Willow Grove, those families are encouraged to tour the school while at the Meet The Teacher event (on August 17), where there will be many staff available to help.
Twin Groves Middle School and Woodlawn Middle School host their Newcomer Welcome/Orientation ~ also with a brief, New Family presentation and tour and Q&A ~ at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, before Locker Set-Up.
These events are for families who are new to the district.
