To help make the back-to-school process as easy as possible and to help you avoid missing deadlines, the Twin Groves PTO requests that you do a few things for us:
Update Your Membership Toolkit Information
Please take time this week to update your family information and become familiar with Membership Toolkit ~ https://twingrovesmspto.membershiptoolkit.com/. If you are new to Twin Groves from another D96 school, please use your elementary school Membership Toolkit login information. If you need instructions to create an account or assistance on how to use Membership Toolkit, please contact us at [email protected].
We welcome you to PRE-ORDER and PRE-PAY for the following items:
PE Uniforms
The PE shirts and Shorts sold through the PTO are the REQUIRED uniform for all students to participate in PE. Sweatshirts and sweatpants are optional. Locks for gym lockers are required but do not have to be purchased through the PTO. Pre-order, including bundle discounts, closes the morning of August 16th. All Pre-orders will be available for pick-up at Locker Set-Up.
Locker Set-Up Day is 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
PRE-ORDERING on Membership Toolkit will SPEED UP your Locker Set-Up Day process. Spend less time in line, by pre-ordering your PE Uniforms.
IF you don’t pre-order, computers will be set up in the gym for you to use.
PLEASE NOTE: You may experience long wait times with limited assistance. Avoid the wait by PRE-ORDERING!
If ordering at Locker Set-Up, please remember your Membership Toolkit Login/Password and credit card(preferred) or check to avoid additional delays. We are unable to accept cash at Locker Set-Up.

Join Us: Incoming 6th Grade and New Families
Join us at Sunset Foods in Long Grove from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on August 13. Please register for a time slot on MTK ~ https://twingrovesmspto.membershiptoolkit.com/.
Dessert Day and Special Lunch
Order forms for Dessert Day and Special Lunch will be available once schedules go out, tentatively on August 12, 2023.
NEW for Special Lunch
As we are seeing across the food industry over the last few years, vendor price increases and ingredient changes have impacted the PTO's ability to offer certain nutritionally compliant meals at a price point that is reasonable to families. We are continuing to work with our vendors to find additional meal options for the students, but were unable to secure them ahead of our Fall Special Lunch sale.
We will, however, continue offering the student favorite Special Lunch for the Fall: Papa Johns! In addition, based on feedback, we are offering three different options, sold monthly. The Standard Meal will be served with a slice of cheese pizza, a side (generally a fruit or vegetable based on seasonal availability), a bottle of water and a frozen novelty or seasonal dessert of the student’s choice.
- $5.00: Standard Meal (1 Slice of Cheese Pizza, a Side, Water and a Frozen Novelty or Seasonal Dessert)
- $7.50: Standard Meal + 1 Extra Slice of Cheese Pizza
- $10.00: Standard Meal + 2 Extra Slices of Cheese Pizza
PTO Dues
All PTO Board Members, Committee Members and Volunteers need to be part of the PTO. Effective October only, PTO Members will see volunteer opportunities and be allowed to volunteer for PTO events. PTO Dues are $10 per family, per year. If you paid during registration, you do not need to pay again. If you did not and would like to participate in PTO activities this year, please sign-up on MTK ~ https://twingrovesmspto.membershiptoolkit.com/. Students do not need to be PTO members to participate in PTO activities.
Volunteer for Twin Groves PTO
If you are interested in participating in PTO activities, you can sign up to volunteer for 2023-24 committees or as general volunteers on Membership Toolkit. We currently need committee members and volunteers for:
- Fall Bash
- Special Lunch
- Dessert Day
- 6th Grade Welcome Lunch
