Kildeer Principal's Message-March 23rd

Kildeer Principal's Message-March 23rd

Dear Kildeer Families,

It was a fun week of rollerskating and a great way to end our time before the highly anticipated break! Thanks to our first graders for letting me be a kid again. I forgot just how much fun it was!

Before we head off into the sunset of Spring Break, let's revisit some important work:

As a district and school this year, we've done a lot of work around our Mission, Vision, and Values. All of our staff has been a part of this work (as I previously mentioned in my blog) and now we are looking for student perspectives. When we return from Spring Break, we are going to be asking our students to do some thinking about how our values are alive and well at Kildeer.

How can you help at home? Please take some time over this break to talk with your child about what this might look like and sound like at Kildeer!

Mission, Vision, Values

We will be asking each grade-level to take ownership of a value statement. Parents, can you partner with your children to see what you can come up with?

Model for others what we expect from others- 2nd Grade

Every child, every school, every day- 5th Grade

Best practice, not first practice- 4th Grade

Learning has no boundaries- 3rd Grade

Celebrate success- 1st Grade
