Each meeting, we will read a chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and complete a Harry Potter related craft.

Kildeer Culture Club

Calling all First and Second Grade Cougars!

Are you interested in learning about others’ culture and what makes them special and unique?  Do you have a passion for sharing about yourself? Then KILDEER CULTURE CLUB is right for you!  We will spend time playing games, reading books, and doing projects to learn about different places and cultures around the world.

Join Mrs. Bodenlos and Mrs. Lushpynskyj on Mondays from 3:05-4:00 from September 9-November 18.  We will have a maximum of 20 students in this club!  Please fill out this form if you would like to join us!  Please reach out to Mrs. Lushpynskyj ([email protected]) or Mrs. Bodenlos ([email protected]) with any questions!  Registration closes Friday, September 6.  We can’t wait to meet and learn from you!

If you are a 1st or 2nd grader, please join us for a Monarch Book Club!  The club will meet every Wednesday beginning on September 11th and ending on November 13th from 3:05-4:00 p.m. in Mrs. Olson's Room (Room 203).  We will read and discuss books from the Bluestem list and enjoy activities related to these books.

There is NO FEE for this club.

*TECH CHESS CLUB - 2ND, 3RD, 4TH, AND 5TH GRADE* 

We are excited to announce that Tech Chess Club for the 2024-2025 school year will be starting soon. The dates for the club are October 17 - March 13 (NO Chess on Halloween, October 31).

Technology Chess Club is NOT a chess class! Beginners will learn the basics of the game and more seasoned players will hone their skills through practice on boards and with Computer Software / iPads / Safe Internet Chess Sites.

Tech Chess Club is offered to 2nd – 5th graders and will meet in the LEARNING CENTER on THURSDAYS from the end of the school day until 4:00 p.m. and will be facilitated by Mr. Pazol, Miss Rejman, Miss Markiewicz, & Mrs. Fuss.

Please be aware that students may register for other clubs in the school even if they conflict with this club. They must however pick ONE club to attend, they cannot go back and forth as they choose.
