BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED on Feb. 12–19
We are in desperate need of volunteers for our Winte Book Fair starting next week. Set-up begins on Feb. 12, with classroom shopping hours on Feb. 13–15, as well as Feb. 19. The Book Fair will also be open from 6–8 p.m. during Ivy Hall Celebrates Diversity (Feb. 19), so you can shop with your students that evening. Volunteers are welcomed for as much time as you have available–sign up for the slot that is closest to your availability and we'll work you in. BOOK FAIR SPECIAL: DIARY OF A WIMPY KID PRESALE!
Have a Wimpy Kid lover in your house? We'll be offering a special PRESALE of the latest book–Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid–Rowley Jefferson's Journal–as part of the Book Fair. Check out the FLYER to learn more and order when you shop the Book Fair on Feb. 13–19.
LOVE IS IN THE AIR! Valentine's Day Parties NEXT WEEK!
All party volunteers should have been contacted by their class Room Parent this week with information on party logistics. As a reminder, only approved preregistered volunteers are allowed into the school. Please make sure all party snacks (from the APPROVED SNACK LIST only) are in the Ivy Hall School Office by 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 14, labeled with the classroom teacher's name. You are welcome to send party snacks in starting on Feb. 11. Please contact Colleen Torf with any questions or Ivy Hall Administrative Assistant Jodi Zachara (847.459.0022).
BOXTOPS DRIVE FEB. 11–15; All BoxTops for 2018–19 School Year DUE by Feb. 25!
Our BoxTops Coordinators will be submitting our BoxTops for the year this month! Let's have a little fun this week with a Box Tops Drive. The classroom with the most BoxTops submissions will earn a prize from our Book Fair! Please send your neatly clipped, current BoxTops to the Ivy Hall Office (bundles of 25 or 50 in a small baggie or envelope is perfect) LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER'S NAME for our BoxTop Coordinator to collect and redeem. BoxTops received from Feb. 11–15 will count toward the drive. All BoxTops are due by Feb. 25 for this year's submission. Please note we cannot accept expired BoxTops.

It's time for Staff Appreciation once again, and to thank the staff for all they do we'll be hosting a backyard BBQ complete with fried and BBQ chicken for the teachers to enjoy the night of conferences (Mar. 7). Please SIGN UP to donate items to round out the delicious meal we have planned.
WANTED! YEARBOOK CO-CHAIR TRAINEE FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
In 2020–21, Ivy Hall will be losing one of its two Yearbook Co-Chairs as her youngest child moves on to middle school. In order to get ahead of the game, we're asking for one very lucky person to "train" next school year (2019–20) by "shadowing" her and learning her job. You must commit to learning the job and giving at least one year to the Ivy Hall Yearbook project (training next school year and serving in the 2020–21 school year, and hopefully more).
