The Book Fair will be open during the Ivy Hall family program Ivy Hall Celebrates Diversity (Feb. 19), so you can shop with your students that evening. More details to come!

Last Chance to Sign Up! Valentine's Day Parties Are 2/14

Valentine's Day parties will be on Feb. 14 at 2 PM. Valentine's Day sign-ups are open on the Ivy Hall PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT through Feb. 1. All parents are welcomed at this time–even if you've already volunteered this year!

Questions? Please contact us at IVY HALL ROOM PARENTS.

Last Call for Coffee Donations!

Last year the PTO purchased 2 Keurig coffee makers and 200 K cups for our staff for Valentine's Day! This year, we would love donations for Valentine's Day for our favorite Ivy Hall Staff. Head over to MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT and sign up for K cup donations and make this a sweetly caffeinated day for our staff! Contact Colleen Torf with any questions. All donations are due to the Ivy Hall Office by 10 AM on Feb. 13 (the day before Valentine's Day).

WANTED! Yearbook Co-Chair for 2020–2021 School Year to Shadow Current Co-Chair in 2019–2020

In 2020, Ivy Hall will be losing one of its two Yearbook Co-Chairs, as her youngest child moves on to middle school. In order to get ahead of the game, we are asking for one very lucky person to "train" next school year (2019–2020) by "shadowing" her and learning her job. You must commit to learning the job and giving at least one year to the Ivy Hall Yearbook role (training next year, and serving in 2020–2021 and, hopefully, more years!).

You must be detail-oriented, capable of shooting photos with either a DSLR or (newer) iPhone. It also would help if you enjoy children and taking photos of them!

We will train you to manage digital photo files and assemble the yearbook on our vendor's platform.

This is a time-consuming volunteer position, but VERY rewarding, as  you get to put your "fingerprints" on the biggest souvenir of your student's academic year.

Yearbook shooting dates go from the first day of school until approximately mid-February/early March. You will be responsible for organizing the parent volunteer photographers needed for class parties, as well as making sure extracurricular events are covered–including, but not limited to, events like band and orchestra concerts, the Ivy Hall Fun Run, Family Reading Night, Ice Cream Social, etc.

You'll also be part of a two-person team that manages the work of volunteers who edit class montage yearbook pages and you'll be responsible for making sure yearbook content is submitted on time.

If you can be cool under pressure, get along with most people, and have a great love of photography and designing pages in your free time, Ivy Hall could really use your help!

Please send a note to Melanie Gurel if you are interested.

Ice Cream Wednesday – 2019 Volunteer Slots Now Open!

Didn't get a chance to volunteer at Ice Cream Wednesday this year? Now's your chance! Head on over to MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT today to sign up for a slot during the second half of the school year. PLEASE NOTE: Parents who already volunteered are asked not to select another slot and all parents are asked to select only ONE slot. We will contact those who sign up for more than one slot to ask you to choose one date. Please add yourself to the waitlist to be considered for additional openings or last-minute needs.

Clip Those Box Tops!

Send your neatly clipped Box Tops to the Ivy Hall Office (bundles of 25 or 50 in a small baggie or evnvelope is perfect) for our Box Top Coordinator to collect and redeem. Every little bit helps, so check those boxes before you hit the recycling or garbage bin!
