Math Club – Ivy Hall (Grades 1 – 5) 

Open your mind and discover areas of math you've never thought about before. Enjoy working with friends to solve puzzles and think through challenges. Depending on enrollment, this club will break into different sessions later in the school year.

Reader's Theater (Grades 3–5)

Calling all 3rd–5th graders! Come explore your love for reading through our Reader's Theater Club. Students will read through and act out plays, working with peers to create props and incorporate actions for plays with a variety of themes.
Maximum enrollment: 24 students (2 sessions will be offered in 2018–19)

STEM Club (Grades 1–2)

Engineers and mathematicians use science, technology, engineering, and math to explore and innovate. We're inviting Ivy Hall students in Grades 1 & 2 to engage and collaborate as we explore STEM concepts together. Club participants need to be creative, positive, and ready to grow!
Maximum enrollment: 20 students per grade level, Grades 1 & 2

Creative Arts Club (Grades 3 – 5, one session per grade level)

Be creative! Ivy Hall students in Grades 3–5 interested in creating projects and participating in fun activities involving arts and crafts, cooking, and fine arts will enjoy the Creative Arts Club. 
On days that school is in session:

Grade 5 Creative Arts Club will meet 3–4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Sept. 26 – Dec. 5
Grade 4 Creative Arts Club will meet 3–4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Dec. 12 – Feb. 20
Grade 3 Creative Arts Club will meet 3–4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Feb. 27 – May 8

World Cultures Club (Grades 1–5)

Explore art and cultures and learn about children from around the world through art projects, folktales, and more.

Students may register to attend World Cultures Club on a Monday or on a Thursday, 3–4:30 p.m.
There will be a fall session and a winter session (specific dates to come). 
Maximum enrollment: 10 students per session

Environmental Club (Grades 1–5)

Students who are environmentally conscious–with ideas for recycling and helping to "save our planet"–will enjoy Environmental Club. 

Environmental Club will meet on the following Thursdays, from 3–4 p.m.:
Sept. 20; Oct. 4, 20; Nov. 1, 15; Dec. 6; Jan. 10, 24; Feb. 7, 21; Mar. 7, 21; Apr.: 4, 18; and May: 2.

Ivy Hall Safety Patrol (Grade 5)

5th graders who want to set a good example for others and help students stay safe are invited to join the Ivy Hall Safety Patrol. This requires spending time before and after school on assigned days, so transportation for participants must be available for 8:00 a.m. arrival and 3:15 p.m. pick-up on those days.

A training session for all Safety Patrol Team members will be Fri., Sept. 28, at 7:45 a.m. (Mrs. Cappelen's room). Safety Patrol duties will be discussed and a schedule provided. Safety Patrol duties begin Oct. 1.

STEM Club for 3rd Graders

We're looking for Ivy Hall 3rd graders looking to expand their brains in science, technology, engineering, and math. You'll engage and collaborate with other 3rd graders to explore and learn together, requiring a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and creativity.

Maximum enrollment: 10 third-grade students
