Membership Opportunities

Please note: To be considered for the Blue Lake Scholarship, a student's family must be a member of the D96 Band and Orchestra Boosters.

Band and Orchestra Booster Bylaws

Band and Orchestra Uniform Requirements

All Band and Orchestra students are required to wear a District 96 Band or Orchestra shirt for performances. Each shirt is a short-sleeved polo shirt embroidered with the District 96 logo. Order concert polo shirts through our online MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT.

Booster Meeting Schedule, 2020–21

All meetings are held at either Twin Groves or Woodlawn Middle School at 6:30 p.m. in the Band or Orchestra room, unless scheduled as remote meetings via Zoom. Please check the calendar or contact a Board member for the exact location.

• Aug. 1 – MTK opens (will provide shirt sales; however, not sure whether concerts will occur)
Oct. 2 – Shirt sales close
• Oct. 15 – Shirts picked up from vendor
• Oct. 21 – Shirts delivered to schools
Jan. 8 – Blue Lake Scholarship notification to parents
Jan. 22 – Deadline for Blue Lake Scholarship submissions
February – Announce Blue Lake Scholarship Winners
Apr. 10 – Mail checks to Blue Lake Scholarship recipients
Apr. 30 – Deadline for End-of-Year Party ticket sales
