Special Lunch and Dessert Day
The forms for Special Lunch and Dessert Day are open now in the Membership Toolkit until October 31, 2023.
This will be the last chance for this school year to add special lunch and dessert day orders. Dessert Day treats must be ordered by October 24 to receive October dessert. Orders placed October 25 to 31 will receive Dessert Day treats from November through May.
A Big 'Thank You'
'Thank you' to all the parent volunteers who came out and helped with the Book Fair and the Ice Cream and Pizza Social!! Both fundraisers were a big success, and it was wonderful for our school community to come together and connect as a group. A big shout-out also goes to our amazing teachers and staff who came out to support the PTO. 
We are so lucky to be part of such a great school community. We had so many wonderful events this past month, it sure made September fly by, and, of course, we couldn't have put on all these amazing events without your help and support, so "thank you!"
Kildeer Coat Drive: October 9 to November 10
Our community has been given the wonderful opportunity to help families and individuals needing warm outerwear this winter by donating new items for people of all ages.
- Accepting new coats, scarves, hats and gloves for both adults and children.
- Donations may be sent to school with your child and/or placed in the donation box in the foyer.
- Donations will be given to Journeys and Bright Point in Palatine. Both organizations work with families and individuals in need.

November 3: Movie Night for 3rd- and 4th-Graders
Our committee is currently working out the details for this fun-filled evening, coming early in November. You don't want to miss out on Movie Night!!
Please keep in mind: 
- The movie will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m. Drop-off is at 6:30 p.m. inside the school.
- NO BLANKETS, STUFFED ANIMALS, OR PILLOWS WILL BE PERMITTED. You may bring your own seat cushion as long as it is not plush/cloth. Seat cushions are available to purchase on our Membership Toolkit.
- Pick-up is promptly at 8:30 p.m. inside the school.
- You must be present to sign your child in and out.
- This is a drop-off event. No walk-ins will be permitted. This event is ONLY for Kildeer 3rd- and 4th-grade students. No siblings will be allowed to stay.

Attention, 5th-Grade Parents
The Yearbook Committee is creating a special tribute to our 5th Graders in the yearbook. We need your help! 
Please submit a headshot of your child when he/she was 6–12 months old. The baby pictures will be displayed in the yearbook and matched with your child's dreams/favorite memories.
Digital photos are preferred and can be emailed to [email protected].

Box Tops Collection is Ongoing
Help the PTO earn funds to purchase supplies for our school by sending in your Box Tops! Box Tops can be found on many household products, including General Mills, Ziploc, Annie's and many others. 
We are NOT currently accepting physical Box Tops, however there is an easier way to collect box tops: Download the "Box Tops for Education" app and scan your receipts to submit Box Tops electronically!

Membership Toolkit Instructions: Sign Up Today, If You Haven’t Already!
The PTO uses an online database system called Membership Toolkit to organize our school activities. This system helps us conduct business, organize our volunteers and streamline our communications to you. Plus, parents can pay for events by credit card and easily view what they have purchased.
*A friendly reminder regarding Membership Toolkit: Please be sure you Complete the Checkout Process by hitting “PLACE ORDER.” A receipt will pop up on Membership Toolkit immediately after you place your order and then you will be emailed a copy of the receipt shortly after you place your order. If you do not receive a receipt, then your order wasn’t placed!*
Let’s get started!
- Click here to access our Kildeer PTO Membership Toolkit webpage: https://kildeercountrysidepto.membershiptoolkit.com/home. If you are new to the Kildeer PTO Membership Toolkit, create an account using your personal email address. If you have a Membership Toolkit account from another school, no need to create a new login — you can use that account to log in (for example, from Willow Grove).
- Update your Family Information from the link on the homepage. Validate your family contact information and update your student’s new teacher.
- Sign up: The following forms are now available:
- PTO Committee Chairperson Sign Up — Sign up today.
- PTO Committee Volunteer Opportunities — Get involved in the Kildeer community by volunteering for one of our awesome committees.
- PTO Dues — If you did not pay PTO dues during school registration last spring, you can pay via Membership Toolkit.
4. Check out! Once you have made your selections, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button at the bottom of the screen. Make payment through PayPal or a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). Sorry, no cash or checks can be accepted for pre-pay events or items.
