A Big Thank You...
Thank you to all the parent volunteers who came out and helped with the Book Fair and the Ice Cream and Pizza Social!! Both fundraisers were a big success, and it was wonderful for our school community to come together and connect as a group.
A big shout-out to our amazing teachers and staff who came out to support the PTO as well. We are so lucky to be part of such a great school community. We had so many wonderful events this past month, it sure made September fly by, and, of course, we couldn't have put on all these amazing events without your help and support, so THANK YOU!!!
Room Parent Update
We were so lucky to have an overwhelming number of volunteers for Room Parent and Classroom Parties. Thank you to everyone who indicated interest in helping.
Unfortunately, we can have only one room parent per classroom. Our wonderful PTO VPs recently drew names for each classroom and have contacted the room parents. Room parents will be in contact with the party volunteers to begin organizing classroom parties.
Kildeer Coat Drive Is Coming Up
As we enter fall and chilly weather, it is important to remember those who are not as fortunate as many of us. It's that time of year when we start to clean out our closets, so please consider donating your family's outgrown coats to the Coat Drive. 
Give back by participating in our annual Kildeer Coat Drive. Collection boxes will be located in the main hallway at Kildeer, starting Tuesday, October 11, going through Friday, November 11.
SAVE THE DATE: 3rd and 4th Grade Movie Night is Friday, November 4
Our committee is currently working out the details for this fun-filled evening, coming early in November.
You don't want to miss out on Movie Night!!
Please keep in mind:
- The movie will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m. Drop-off is at 6:30 p.m. inside the school.
- NO BLANKETS, STUFFED ANIMALS, OR PILLOWS WILL BE PERMITTED. You may bring your own seat cushion as long as it is not plush/cloth. Seat cushions are available to purchase on our Membership Toolkit.
- Pick-up is promptly at 8:30 p.m. inside the school.
- You must be present to sign your child in and out.
- This is a drop-off event. No walk-ins will be permitted. This event is ONLY for Kildeer 3rd- and 4th-grade students. No siblings will be allowed to stay.

ATTENTION: 5th-GRADE Parents
The Yearbook Committee is creating a special tribute to our 5th Graders in the yearbook. We need your help! 
Please submit a headshot of your child when he/she was 6–12 months old. The baby pictures will be displayed in the yearbook and matched with your child's dreams/favorite memories. Digital photos are preferred and can be emailed to [email protected].
Show your Kildeer Spirit! Our Spirit Wear Shop is open all year!
We have some awesome spirit wear to purchase this year! Show your Cougar Pride, and place your Spirit Wear order today! Spirit Wear is open all year and will make a great gift.

Box Tops Collection is On-going
Help the PTO earn funds to purchase supplies for our school by sending in your Box Tops. 
Box Tops can be found on many household products, including General Mills, Ziploc, Annie's and others items. We are NOT currently accepting physical Box Tops, however there is an easier way to collect box tops: Download the "Box Tops for Education" app, and scan your receipts to submit Box Tops electronically!

Membership Toolkit Instructions — Sign Up Today!
The PTO uses an online database system called Membership Toolkit to organize our school activities. This system helps us conduct business, organize our volunteers and streamline our communications to you. Plus, parents can pay for events by credit card and easily view what they have purchased. 
A friendly reminder regarding Membership Toolkit: Please be sure you Complete the Checkout Process by hitting “PLACE ORDER.” A receipt will pop up on Membership Toolkit immediately after you place your order and then you will be emailed a copy of the receipt shortly after you place your order. If you do not receive a receipt, then your order wasn’t placed!
Let’s get started!

If you are new to the Kildeer PTO Membership Toolkit, create an account using your personal email address. If you have a Membership Toolkit account from another school, no need to create a new login — you can use that account to log in (for example, from Willow Grove).
- Update your Family Information from the link on the homepage. Validate your family contact information and update your student’s new teacher.
- Sign up! The following forms are now available!
- PTO Committee Chairperson Sign Up — Sign up today!
- PTO Committee Volunteer Opportunities — Get involved in the Kildeer community by volunteering for one of our awesome committees!
- PTO Dues — If you did not pay PTO dues during school registration last spring, you can pay via Membership Toolkit.
- Special Lunch — View the menu options for our monthly Special Lunch program and select your entrees for each child. If you have more than one Kildeer student, you will need to sign up for Special Lunch for each child separately. Please note: You must sign up for the entire year NOW— orders for the full year will close on August 31.
- Dessert Day — Dessert day is now monthly, and we are offering treats from Culver’s, Dairy Queen, and Menchie’s! View the menu options and select a dessert for each child. Please note: You must sign up for the entire year NOW—orders for the full year will close on August 31.
- Classroom Parent Volunteers — Volunteer in your child’s classroom throughout the year. Opportunities include Room Parent, Cougar Press parent, and volunteering at classroom parties.
- Check out! Once you have made your selections, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button at the bottom of the screen. Make payment through PayPal or a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Sorry, no cash or checks can be accepted for pre-pay events or items.
