Graphic of gray shaded figures holding letters to spell Thanks!

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out and supported all of our events this past month. We had our annual Bingo Blast fundraiser and–although it had a shaky start due to a lack of volunteers–with help from many parents we were able to run this iconic event successfully! A special thanks to everyone who donated items from our Amazon Wish List, to the families who donated entire raffle baskets, and to the adults who volunteered their time to help run the actual event. We could not have put together this event without your generous contributions. We really feel fortunate that we didn't have to cancel Bingo Blast, because this event is so much more than a fundraiser. It affords us a precious opportunity to get together and connect as a community.

Our 5th graders also put on an amazing Variety Show, which could not have been done without all the support and countless hours from our volunteers, so Thank You Variety Show Committee! We know this was not an easy feat!

Our annual Wilmot Family Tubing Night was a success! Thanks to all the families who attended and showed their support for our school. I heard some of the kids talking about how it was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the trimester!

We also had 5th-Grade Night Out this past week, The kids from both Kildeer and Country Meadows had a blast with this event! Thank you to the wonderful 5th-Grade Night Out Committee for making this night so special for our 5th graders.

With February behind us, we are looking forward to March and early April in this blog....

Spring Family Educator Conferences Dinner

It's about time for our spring Family Educator Conferences and our Hospitality Committee is busy planning a nice dinner for all the educators who will be involved with conferences. Many of our teachers do not go home before conferences and they really appreciate the PTO providing dinner for them on this exceptionally long day. The Hospitality Committee is catering from Tacos El Norte and needs donations. Please consider contributing to this meal by donating through the Kildeer PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. Thank you!
