In case you missed Meet-the-Teacher Day (or just want to make sure you signed up for everything), you can find all the information on the KILDEER PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT (MTK).
Please be sure you Complete the Checkout Process by clicking PLACE ORDER. A receipt will pop up on the Membership Toolkit immediately after you place your order successfully. Soon after that, you will be emailed a copy of your receipt.

PTO GENERAL MEETING IS SEPT. 7, 9 AM
Mark your calendars and join us on Sept. 7 at 9 a.m. for coffee and great conversation in the Kildeer cafeteria during our first General PTO Meeting of the 2018–19 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the PTO and different ways to get involved in the Kildeer Countryside School Community.
Remember, this is our ONLY General PTO meeting until the end of the year, so we hope to see you there.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
Interested in being a head Room Parent? Room Parents have a lot of fun throughout the year. You will organize classroom parties, coordinate teacher gifts, and support other PTO activities in the classroom. We also need parent volunteers for the class parties (Halloween, Winter, and Valentine). The deadline to sign up is Aug. 30; log in to MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT today to sign up.

DESSERT DAY BEGINS NEXT WEEK!!
Dessert Day will begin Aug. 23 and continue every Thursday until the end of the school year. Be sure to purchase your Dessert Day Card and guarantee that your child will get to enjoy the dessert of his or her choice every Thursday during the lunch period! You can also purchase ice cream for the class to celebrate your child's birthday! All orders must be placed by the end of the day Saturday to guarantee a Dessert Day card for the following Thursday. MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT INSTRUCTIONS–SIGN UP TODAY!
The PTO is implementing some BIG changes in the way we are approaching our back-to-school activities–this year we will be using an online database system called Membership Toolkit. This system will better assist us in conducting business, organizing our volunteers, and streamlining our communication to you. Plus, parents can pay for events or items by credit card and easily view what they have purchased!
Let's get started!
- Click HERE to access our Kildeer PTO Membership Toolkit. If you already created an account last spring to order school supplies for the 2018–19 school year, your account still is valid. Just log in! If you are new to the Kildeer PTO Membership Toolkit, create an account using your personal email address.
- Update your Family Information from the link on the homepage. Validate your family contact information and update the current grade level for each of your students at Kildeer this 2018–19 school year. If your former Kildeer student has moved on to Woodlawn Middle School, click the box to indicate that he or she is no longer a Kildeer student.
- Sign up! The following forms will be available Aug. 13:
• PTO Chairperson Sign-Up – We still are in need of chairpersons for Bingo Blast, 5th-grade Transition Day, and more! Sign up today!
• PTO Committee Volunteer Opportunities – Get involved in the Kildeer community by volunteering for one or more of our awesome committees! There are a ton of ways to support Kildeer. Sign up today!
• PTO Dues – If you did not pay PTO dues on the online registration form for the 2018–19 school year, you can pay via Membership Toolkit.
• Special Lunch – View the menu options for our Special Lunch program and select your entrees for each child. Please note that if you have more than one Kildeer student, you will need to sign up for Special Lunch for each child.
• Dessert Day Cards and Birthday Celebrations – Sign up for a Dessert Day card to get a treat every Thursday. Celebrate your child's birthday by buying ice cream for the class. Make sure to list your child's teacher and birthday–we'll work to get every celebrating student a birthday celebration date as close to his or her actual birthdate or half-birthdate as possible.
• 2018–2019 PTO Value Package – Get ahead of the year and save! Purchase your family's Package today! It includes food, admissions, and more to Ice Cream/Pizza Social, Movie Night, Bingo Blast, and the Family Picnic.
• Classroom Parent Volunteers – Volunteer in your child's classroom throughout the year. Opportunities include Room Parent, Cougar Press Parent (new this year!), and Classroom Party Volunteer. Please note that classroom parent volunteer opportunities are limited. If the request to volunteer is greater than the need, we will use a lottery system to choose volunteers and will work to include as many families as possible. Sign up for all the opportunities that interest you to increase your opportunity to be involved! Volunteers will be notified by email in September. - Check out! Once you have made your selections, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button at the bottom of the screen. Make payment through PayPal or a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Sorry–no cash or checks can be accepted for pre-pay events or items.
