Family Picnic & Savers Donation Night – May 11

Come celebrate the end of the school year at our Annual Kildeer Family Picnic Fri., May 11, 5:30–8 PM at Kildeer School. Don't miss an action-packed evening with Famos! DJ & Entertainment, Balloon Art & Face Painter, Bubble Blower, a Fire Truck visit, and performances from our spectacular First Graders!

Visit the KILDEER PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT to place your pre-orders today! Pre-Sale Orders are $10 (Price includes: meal, drink, chips, and all games/activities). Please note: The Family Picnic will have limited amounts of meals available to purchase on the day of the event. Meal prices the day of the event will be $12 each. Popcorn, snow cones, & extra drinks can be purchased for an additional $1.00. See you there!

It's Spring Clean-Up Time! Clean out your closets with the upcoming change of season and help us raise money for the PTO. The night of the Family Picnic, please bring your gently used items to the school parking lot, where we will be collecting!! All FUNDrive items must be in good, clean, and sellable condition. Pack large bags, as Savers will pay by the pound for goods collected. Items accepted include clothing, shoes, bedding/towels, accessories, CDs/DVDs, electrical items, toys & games, kitchen items, knick knacks, and sporting goods. CLICK HERE for more info on what we can collect! Get the kids involved and let them clean out, too. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be handed out at the Family Picnic.

Dessert Day Cards!

Now that the weather is getting warmer, treat your child(ren) to a special treat for the last few Dessert Days of the school year! Dessert Day cards are prepaid cards that allow your child to choose from a variety of ice cream and popsicle treats served during lunch every Thursday. Dessert Day cards are now going for $10!!! Please note – we will accept only Dessert Day Cards in payment on Dessert Days. Cash will not be accepted on the day of Dessert Day. Dessert Day Card orders must be placed by end of day on a Saturday to guarantee a card for the following Thursday.

Last Special Lunch!!

Chipotle is coming up on May 11th. All orders for the upcoming special lunch must be in membership toolkit by Sat., Apr. 28, in order for your child to receive this last special lunch.

The forms for both Dessert Day and Special Lunch are on the KILDEER PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT – access the forms at any time before the Special Lunch or the Dessert Day to place your order. If the option is not available, the date has passed to place an order. Not sure whether you placed an order for Special Lunch or Dessert Day? Access "Previous Orders" under "My Account" on Membership Toolkit to view orders you have placed.

PTO General Meeting – May 9

Please join us for the PTO General Meeting on Wed., May 9, at 8:30 AM in the Kildeer Countryside Cafeteria. Learn more about how to get involved with the PTO, plans for the upcoming school year, and meet other Kildeer parents. Hope to see you there!

Committee Chair Openings for the 2018/2019 School Year

Sign up now for our Committee Chair openings for the 2018/2019 school year. Chairing one (or more!) of our fantastic committees is a great way to get involved with Kildeer, Hurry now and chair the Dessert Day or Special Lunch Committee... these two fun opportunities allow for parents with flexible schedules to be in school all year long and see their child(ren) with friends at lunch.

We still are in need of chairs for our Cultural Arts Committee! The Cultural Arts Committee not only gets to see the performances (which are normally closed to parents), they get to work with Mrs. Kieser to help choose which shows our students get to see. There is a special Cultural Arts Showcase in the fall that the committee attends, so there's no need to try and find ideas on your own!

We are asking ALL–both RETURNING chairs and NEW chairs to go to MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT CLICK HERE to sign up. Log in to your family account and you will find the sign-up under MyAccount/FormsAndPaperwork/VolunteerOpportunities. Chairpersons for the 2018/2019 school year will be notified by May 1.

Please feel free to share this information with any friends/parents you think might be interested in chairing a committee next year, including families with incoming 1st graders. Get Your Supply Kits for Next Year

We lowered the price this year!!!! Don't delay – minimize the hassle of back-to-school shopping and order your school supply kits for the 2018/2019 school year! School supplies will be delivered to your child's classroom and waiting for you at Meet-the-Teacher Day in the fall! The PTO will accept orders through Thurs., May 31, 2018. Once the sale closes, you will not have another opportunity to purchase a supply kit. Purchase your kit online today by logging in to the KILDEER PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. Make sure to update Parent and Student Information, ensuring the "Current Grade" for each student is the grade they are in as of the 2017–2018 school year. Note: School Supply Kit orders will not present correctly if this information is not updated.

Attention 5th-grade parents – Order your 6th-grade school supply kit from WOODLAWN'S PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. 
If you are NEW to Woodlawn, CREATE A NEW Woodlawn PTO Membership Toolkit Account. You can use the same log in and password, but this is a different system than the elementary.

If you already have an EXISTING Woodlawn Membership Toolkit Account, you need to ADD A NEW STUDENT. From the Family Information link, click Next Step to access the student info. You can then add another student. Please enter the current grade and don't add any teacher or locker information.
