Kildeer Principal's Message- May 17th

Kildeer Principal's Message- May 17th

Kildeer Families,

This week the appreciation continued. A huge shout-out for the tasty lunch for our office crew. It goes without saying that we are beyond lucky to have such a great group of ladies in the office at Kildeer. It takes a village to support a school and we could not do it without Mrs. Fineman, Mrs. Campbell, and Mrs. Anderson.

The countdown continues and it amazes me that we are approaching the end of the year. Last Friday we celebrated the talent of our 5th-graders, this week we enjoyed some sunshine and a very successful fire drill, and next week brings our Kindergarten visitors and 5th-grade transition day. I know we are going to blink and it will be August!

Speaking of the 19-20 school year, drum roll please......MARK YOUR CALENDARS for September 13th for our 2nd annual I AM ME...WE ARE KILDEER family celebration. There will be more information to come!

We Need Your Help!

It's enrollment season!  As families move into your neighborhood, let them know it's time to register for the 2019/20 school year.  It isn't uncommon for families to wait until August.  It helps us immensely to secure our classroom sections.  New neighbors?  Spread the word!  Enrollment is happening now.  School offices are open through June.  Registration will continue through July in the District Office at 1050 Ivy Hall Lane, Buffalo Grove.  Also, if you haven't registered your son or daughter and are planning on attending next year, please do so right away.  Thank you!
