Kildeer Principal's Message- December 14th

Kildeer Principal's Message- December 14th

Kildeer Families,

Do I have the best job or what? This week started with my birthday. I cannot even tell you the smiles that the staff and students brought to my heart. I was showered with some really sweet and thoughtful cards that I will always treasure. Everyone has tough days at work, yes? These are the small reminders of why I got into the profession in the first place. Thank you for the gift of your children at Kildeer!

On a side note, one of my favorite things to do is to get into the lunchroom. I know this might sound a little crazy, but it's a chance for me to connect with the kids on a different level. We have some small talk about the food and what I should try, and even some deeper conversations regarding improvements to the school itself. Today I enjoyed seeing some PTO parent volunteers to serve up the special lunch. Again, this is another reminder of the great community that we have!
