Thank you for making our Fifth Grade Celebration and Ivy Hall PTO Family Picnic a success!
Last Friday, we had double the fun of hosting our Fifth Grade Celebration during the day as well as a Family Picnic in the evening. In the daytime celebration, the 5th graders and their teachers wore a special T-shirt gifted to them by the PTO. The 5th graders were provided lunch from Wiener Take All and a special drink and ice cream treat sponsored by the PTO. That was followed by an afternoon of fun and games outside. The kids had a great time dancing and cheering to the music of Elevated Entertainment.
That evening, we had an amazing turnout at the Family Picnic. The few thunderstorms that went through did not dampen the Ivy Hall family spirit! It was great to see and hang out with other families and friends in the community. Special thank you to Elevated Entertainment for rocking us with music, Wiener Take All for providing a delicious dinner, Ma & Pa’s Candy for spinning cotton candy and juggler Josh Schillig for keeping us entertained! And lastly, thank you to everyone who joined and participated in the festivities as well as the planning committees for both events!

Ivy Hall PTO is once again working with GiftCrowd to coordinate end of year gifts for Ivy Hall staff. Please consider contributing toward a gift for your child's teachers, aide and other school staff.

Recipients do not see the individual contribution amounts, only the total of all gifts. Contributions will be accepted through 11am on May 29. Recipients will receive their gifts as summer break begins and can select their gift in the form of a gift card from hundreds of online and physical stores.

We have received over 70 adorable baby photos of our Fifth Graders so far. We were able to create a slideshow to play during the evening roller skating celebration, but it’s not too late to include your child’s photo. Half Days of School Mean Culver’s!
Celebrate a half day of school by taking a break from cooking lunch or dinner – or enjoy a cold custard treat! Visit Culver’s in Buffalo Grove on Friday, May 23 and Thursday, May 29. Be sure to mention Ivy Hall PTO and Culver’s will donate 25% of sales! Culver’s is open 10am-10pm, so you can eat early or late!
REMINDER: School Supply Kits for 2025-2026 on sale thru July 7
Purchase your School Supply kit today and gear up for the next school year. This is an easy and convenient way to get your student’s supplies without the hassle of shopping in the fall. Join North Shore Plant Club and support Ivy Hall PTO
Support our ongoing fundraiser in partnership with North Shore Plant Club. The North Shore Plant Club’s mission is to make gardening more accessible to the community. You can purchase a wide range of plants at almost wholesale prices. Ivy Hall PTO will receive a portion of your purchase.
Joining the club is free and gives you access to great prices, a huge selection of plants that arrive fresh from the growers, while shopping from the convenience of your home. When you join North Shore Plant Club and purchase a plant using our special link, 5% of the proceeds will go to Ivy Hall PTO.
You, friends, family and neighbors will be able to order 15 different times between April and October and support the fundraiser. There are Plant Club pick up locations in Buffalo Grove (near the Prairie View Metra Station), Barrington, Glenview, Deerfield, Lake Forest, Libertyville, Naperville, Skokie/Evanston, Wilmette and Winnetka.
