Thank you to all of our volunteers who planned Halloween parties for the  classrooms. The games, activities, projects were fabulous and Halloween spirit could be felt and heard throughout the Ivy Hall hallways.

If you attended Willy Wildcat & The Wizard of Oz last week, the Ivy Hall Halloween Parade or Halloween Party, we need your photos! Please email them, at the highest resolution (largest size) possible to [email protected] - photos may be used in the Yearbook.

Ivy Hall PTO’s Dave & Buster’s Spirit Night on Monday, November 4

On Monday, November 4, 5-8pm, join us for an Ivy Hall PTO Spirit Night at Dave and Buster’s in Vernon Hills (424 Hawthorn Center, Vernon Hills, IL in the Southwest corner of Hawthorn Mall).  There is No School on Tuesday!   20% of all purchases made during Ivy Hall Spirit Night (snack, dinner, dessert, power cards/recharges, etc) will be donated back to Ivy Hall PTO when you mention Ivy Hall PTO or submit your Power Card purchase/recharge receipt to the Ivy Hall PTO table.  We invite everyone to wear Ivy Hall Spirit Wear!

This event is open to all - so invite family and friends to join us for Spirit Night!  

THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF EVENT.  ALL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND WITH AN ADULT.

Dine at Dengeo’s and Support Ivy Hall PTO on Tuesday, November 5 

On Tuesday, November 5, mention Ivy Hall PTO when you dine in or take out at Dengeo’s in Buffalo Grove and 20% of your purchase will be donated to Ivy Hall PTO.

Ivy Hall Yearbook for 2024-2025 is now on sale!

REMINDER:  Yearbooks were NOT sold at registration for all D96 elementary schools. 

Special note: if you did not purchase a yearbook from last school year, 2023-2024, and would like to purchase one, please email us at [email protected], as we have a few left.

Ivy Hall Yearbook Cover Contest is underway, entries due November 15
Our 4th annual Yearbook Cover Contest is underway and entries are due November15.

Entries should keep in mind Ivy Hall's theme for the school year: Kindness Counts, based on The Power of One by Trudy Ludwig.

You may use markers, colored pencils, crayons, or digital/iPad, entry may submitted on 8-1/2" x 11" paper or digital image - must be VERTICAL (Portrait), not Horizontal (Landscape) - Horizontal/Landscape entries will not be accepted.  Include your name and grade on the back of your design or in the name of the digital file.  Turn in your cover design to your teacher, so that it can be given to Yearbook Club Sponsors Mrs Jarrett and Mrs Slivnick. There will be one winner per grade, entries will be included and announced in the 2024-2025 Yearbook in the spring!

Beautify your home and support the Ivy Hall PTO

Support our ongoing fundraiser in partnership with North Shore Plant Club. The North Shore Plant Club’s mission is to make gardening more accessible to the community.  You can purchase a wide range of plants at near wholesale prices. Ivy Hall PTO will receive a portion of your purchase. 

Joining the club is free and gives you access to great prices and a huge selection of plants that arrive fresh from the growers, all while shopping from the convenience of your home. When you join North Shore Plant Club and purchase a plant using our special link below, 5% of the proceeds go to the Ivy Hall School PTO.  

Feel free to share the link with your friends, family and neighbors so everyone can benefit from this incredible opportunity, and support the fundraiser.
