Special Lunch Orders Due September 11
Once a month, the Ivy Hall PTO works with local restaurants to present special lunch options to students. Lunch must be pre-purchased. All meals include an entree and two side items and a bottle of water.

Set Up E-Wallet for Book Fair, Ice Cream Social
Volunteers Wanted!
Our annual Book Fair will be held September 19 to 21. The best way for students to shop the fair is with an e-wallet. By setting up an e-wallet, you don’t need to send cash to school, and students can use loaded money on their account to shop the fair.

Our first big event of the year is one of the best opportunities to volunteer. We need volunteers to assist students with making book selections both during the school day and at our Ice Cream Social, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 21. Your entire family is invited!

Change Wars Is Back, September 12 to 16
Money raised during Change Wars will be split amongst all classrooms. Students from the classroom that collects the most change will each win a free book from the Book Vending Machine plus $50 for the classroom teacher to spend at the Book Fair. The 2nd and 3rd place classrooms will each receive one book of the teacher's choice from the Book Fair.
A Few Halloween Party Spaces Remain
In an effort to include more families who can volunteer at class parties this year, the Ivy Hall PTO has redesigned the concept of room parents and party volunteers. This year, each classroom party will have four volunteer opportunities, a designated Party Planner and three Helpers. If you have multiple children, you don’t have to choose which classroom you want to commit to!
The sign-up form for Halloween Parties is live at http://linktr.ee/ivyhallpto. We will be posting for volunteers for the Winter Party and Valentines Day Party about two months ahead of time. The kids love it when their parents are part of their class celebrations. As a courtesy to the other children in the class, we ask that your family only sign up for one party a year so that more children are able to have their parents attend. Once you have volunteered for a party, you can add your name to the waitlist for the classroom and will be notified if space is available.
