Calling All Coins!!!
Glass jar on its side with coins spilling outIt's time for our Annual Book Fair Change Wars! All money collected goes toward purchasing books for Ivy Hall classrooms. For every dollar raised, Scholastic donates a book to a child in need. Here's how to participate:
• Bring in your pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollars.
• Put them in your classroom's Book Fair Collection Box.
• The classroom that earns the most money gets a prize.
• Change Wars runs from 9/24–10/1.
Good luck and see you at the Book Fair!

*REPEAT* Volunteers, Take Note! New Visitor Badge System
Ivy Hall's visitor check-in system has been upgraded this year and you will need to re-register if you plan to volunteer in the school this year. It's highly recommended that you stop by the office in advance to have your driver's license scanned, rather than risk waiting in a line on the day of your volunteer event. For large events (like class parties), the office will pre-print visitor badges for those already in the system; if you're not in the system, you may be delayed in entering, as you will need to visit the office to register. Please remember to bring your driver's license with you to any volunteer event.

*REPEAT* HELP WANTED! Staff Appreciation Team Needs YOU
Ivy Hall PTO provides the wonderful Staff with several Staff Appreciation events over the course of the year, including staff dinners during conferences and Staff Appreciation Week in the spring. This committee is in desperate need of additional volunteers, particularly parents with a flexible schedule (e.g., stay-at-home, work-from-home, or part-time) and a healthy dose of creativity. If this sounds like you, please reach out today to Maria Papageorgiou or Colleen Torf.

*REPEAT* Volunteers Needed! Sign up TODAY!
It was great to see those who stopped by the PTO Fair during Meet the Teacher, but for those who weren't able to, great news! All our volunteer sign-ups are now ONLINE ONLY on our MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. Hop on over and sign up to volunteer for one of our many events this school year–there is somehting for everyone! Need help? Check out our Membership Toolkit Quick Start Guide on the Ivy Hall VIRTUAL BACKPACK.

*REPEAT* Committees In Need!
Many of our committees have started the school year without a full team. Please consider donating your time to one of the following committees:
• Breakfast with Your Buddy
• Fifth-Grade Spring Fling
• Girls' Night Out (4th-Grade Parents)
• Guys' Night Out (4th- & 5th-Grade Parents)
• Staff Appreciation
• Variety Show

Please head over to MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT today if you'd like to sign up to volunteer at these events. Contact Maria Papageorgiou or one of the committee chairs (contact info on MTK forms) if you'd be willing to get more involved by joining the committee.
