Calling All Coins!!
It's time for our Annual Book Fair Change Wars! All money collected goes to purchase books for Ivy Hall classrooms. For every dollar raised, Scholastic donates a book to a child in need. Here's how to participate:
• Bring in your pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollars
• Put them in your classroom's Book Fair Collection Box
• The classroom that collects the most money gets a prize.
• Change Wars runs from 9–24 through 10-1.

Save the date for Ivy Hall's Ice Cream Social on Oct. 3 from 6:30–8 p.m.
All students will receive a sticker at school good for one free scoop of Culver's frozen custard with toppings. Additional scoops ($2) and water ($1) will be available for sale. (CASH ONLY)

LAST CHANCE! Order PTO Special Lunch Through Sept. 30!
If you missed out on Special Lunch, you're in luck! We've extended the deadline to Sept. 30 for all lunches (except September). You will find the dates and lunch selections in the MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT under Special Lunch Order Form. The lunches are available by preorder only.
The DEADLINE to order for the remainder of the school year is 9/30. No exceptions for currently enrolled students! Don't miss out!
*REPEAT* Volunteers, Take Note! New Visitor Badge System
Ivy Hall's visitor check-in system has been upgraded this year and you will need to re-register if you plan to volunteer in the school this year. It's highly recommended that you stop by the office in advance to have your license scanned, rather than risk waiting in a line on the day of your volunteer event. For large events (like classroom parties), the office will preprint visitor badges for those already in the system. If you're not in the system, you may be delayed in entering, as you will need to visit the office to register. Please remember to bring your driver's license with you to any volunteer event.
*REPEAT* HELP WANTED! Staff Appreciation Team Needs YOU
Ivy Hall PTO provides the wonderful Staff with several Staff Appreciation events during the year, including staff dinners during conferences and Staff Appreciation Week in the spring. This committee is in desperate need of additional volunteers, particularly parents with a flexible schedule (for example, stay-at-home, work-from-home, part-time) and a healthy dose of creativity. If this sounds like you, please reach out today to Maria Papageorgiou or Colleen Torf.
