Farewell School, Hello Summer!
We'd like to THANK all of our fabulous parent volunteers and wish everyone a happy and healthy summer vacation. We especially extend our thanks to our PTO Board and Committee Chairs who will be leaving us for Twin Groves. You will be missed!!
We cannot wait to welcome everyone back next school year in August. Until then, a few last reminders....

Don't miss your chance to skip the last-minute shopping in August! Order a school supply kit for your child no later than June 1! Prices are competitive with local and online stores and Ivy Hall PTO receives profits from these sales that go right back into helping our school, teachers, and students. And it's EASY! Kits will be waiting for you at Meet-the-Teacher Day in August.

Only YOU can save an ENDANGERED Committee!
Several committees for 2018–2019 are critically low on volunteers. We may be forced to cancel or scale back events or programs that do not have enough parent support!
Please consider signing up for these ENDANGERED committees:
• Breakfast with Your Buddy – Help plan a fun morning especially for dads/grandpas/uncles/other male buddies and their Ivy Hall student. Several committee chairs needed (ideally, moms with any grade-level student)!
• Boys' Night Out – Help plan a fun evening event jointly hosted with Prairie School at Twin Groves Middle School for all 2018–19 5th-grade boys. Several parents needed from both 4th- and 5th-grade families (that is, parents of current 3rd-/4th-grade students).
• Cultural Arts (school assemblies) – Select, schedule, and manage logistics for several school-wide assemblies. Daytime availability is recommended. Several committee chairs are needed!
• Fifth-Grade Spring Fling – Plan an evening drop-off celebration for the 2018–2019 5th graders to cap off their school year. Several committee chairs needed!
• Girls' Night Out – Help plan a fun evening event jointly hosted with Prairie School at Twin Groves Middle School for all 2018–2019 5th-grade girls. Several parents needed from both 4th- and 5th-grade families (that is, parents of current 3rd-/4th-grade students).
• School Apparel – Organize the sale and delivery of Ivy Hall School spiritwear in the fall.
• School Supply Kits – Organize the sale of school supply kits in the winter/spring and delivery in August of the next school year. Several committee chairs are needed!
• Staff Appreciation – Plan a variety of Teacher Appreciation events throughout the school year, especially fall and spring parent/teacher conference dinners and the week-long Staff Appreciation Week in the spring.
• Variety Show – Plan and run the annual Variety Show, which features the talents of Ivy Hall students in the spring. Several dedicated committee chairs needed, especially someone with technical experience (sound editing or theater experience).
