October 14, 2020 (Midweek)

Ivy Hall Families,

I wanted to take this opportunity to get you some information regarding arrival & dismissal for IN-PERSON students that will be arriving, beginning next week. Additionally, I wanted to highlight our PTO and I wanted to notify you of some information that is coming to you this evening about ordering lunches for IN-PERSON students.

Arrival & Dismissal Video (Procedures)

Please watch the video below. The video contains arrival and dismissal procedures for students that are returning to in-person learning on Monday, October 19, 2020. The locations are similar to our typical arrival and dismissal areas, however, all students must enter through two entrances at Ivy Hall, unless you are arriving after 8:25 am. Our dismissal plans are unchanged regarding the exit areas. The main differences between our typical procedures and these modified procedures are related to arrival and health-screening. Students are being circulated through these two areas of the building because we have a health screening protocol in place to ensures that our students are symptom-free prior to entry. If your student is arriving after 8:25 am, we ask that the student be signed in through the front office. Please accompany your student at sign in, and please wear a face covering when entering the building. Students will be screened before entry. The staff is screening students to ensure that the daily health self-certification form was completed by your family. Passing through a screening area ensures that our students are symptom-free prior to entry because we are cross-referencing the form submission completed by you. Any changes to student transportation should still be completed in accordance with the district policy. Again, please watch the video below as it provides more clarity.

School Lunch (In-Person Students ONLY)

There will be communication coming from the business office around school lunch ordering for those that are coming in-person ONLY. This will be for only 1st and 2nd grade at this time. That communication is scheduled to come sometime this evening. So heads up! Students are still welcome to bring their own lunch.

Safe Snack List

Last Friday, I had linked the safe snack list to the principal's message. I linked one from August of 2019, but the latest list is from September of 2019. I am relinking that to eliminate any confusion. The only difference on the list was the addition of some options. Therefore, either list will suffice, but you will have more options on the one linked above.
