PTO Volunteers (New)

We are grateful for our parent volunteers that work so very hard to help our school community in many different ways. I would like to express our sincere gratitude for all PTO volunteers past, present, and future. If you didn’t know, PTO volunteers are not paid for their time. They are doing all this work out of the goodness of their hearts. Thank you PTO volunteers for giving back to the school community. Now that I have expressed how thankful we are for your service, now I say please… please consider volunteering your time to the PTO. The following committees need volunteers:

-Girls Night Out (4th Grade Parents)

-Variety Show (we have teacher running this year, we just need some volunteer helpers)

-Yearbook (Photo helpers)

3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade Families (New)

Third, fourth, and fifth graders will now have the opportunity to learn cursive writing during their time in the Learning Center. In addition first and second graders will receive instruction in handwriting to help hone their skills and make the transition to cursive a bit smoother. We are using Handwriting Without Tears for all grade levels, so students will be familiar with the materials from grade-to-grade. Furthermore, the materials use child-friendly language and have been proven successful in increasing student handwriting skills.
