Curriculum Night Recap (New)

Yesterday, Thursday, August 23, 2018, families came to Ivy Hall to visit with teachers and learn about the 2018-2019 school year. Parents had the opportunity to learn about our curriculum at Ivy Hall. The whole group presentation and its contents are viewable here. It was a great evening and it was very nice seeing some new and familiar faces. If you were unable to attend, please contact your child’s teacher if you would like more information.

MAP Testing (New)

The district MAP testing window opened this Monday, August 20, 2018, and will close next Friday, August 31, 2018. Most students have completed taking the reading and math portions of the test; however, we will be conducting some make-up testing next week. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

FASTBridge Introduction & Recap (New)

District 96 has adopted a new assessment tool for Curriculum Based Measurement (CBM) and progress monitoring. The assessment is administered in two formats. One format is staff led, where staff members monitor reading fluency as a student reads aloud one-on-one. The other portion is a student centered comprehension assessment on the iPad. FASTBridge has both math and literacy assessments. All students will take the literacy portion of FASTBridge. This new tool replaces AIMSweb. If your child happened to have mentioned that they took a FASTBridge test, this is what they were talking about.
