Hello, Wonderful Country Meadows Families!
I hope this message finds you well and filled with positivity. It's always a pleasure to share some of the incredible things happening right here!
Last week was full of exciting learning experiences. Our second graders dove into the world of producers and consumers at the Marketplace, gaining valuable insights into how our economy works. Meanwhile, our fantastic fourth graders proudly showcased their inquiry projects, demonstrating their deep understanding of natural resources. It was a true testament to their hard work and creativity.
And speaking of accomplishments, let's give a big round of applause to our amazing students! They ended the week on a cozy note with a pajama day, celebrating their remarkable achievement of accumulating 180 Golden Paws for the month of September. Teamwork and school-wide expectations truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder!
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our supportive families. Your encouragement and involvement make all the difference.
Thank you to all the families who attended our fall conferences this week. We hope that having the option of an in-person conference or a virtual conference made it easier for you to meet with your child’s teacher. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, October 9.
As we step into this new month, let's embrace the excitement of what's to come. With your continued support, we're looking forward to a month filled with even more wonderful moments and opportunities for our Country Meadows community.

NEW *Picture Retake*
Picture retake is happening at Country Meadows on Wednesday, October 18. Students requesting a retake should bring their original picture package to the photographer. The picture package will be reprinted with the retake image. If a student prepaid for the original shoot, but was absent, the order is still pending and will be applied to the image taken on Retake Day.
REPEAT *Halloween Costumes*
Our Halloween festivities will be here before we know it. We look forward to students dressing in their Halloween costumes for our Halloween Parade and classroom parties on Tuesday, Oct. 31st. Please help us with the following costume guidelines. Students will change into their costumes after their lunch period at school. Please ensure that your child can get the costume on with no or minimal help.
Costumes must be appropriate for school. If costumes are not school-appropriate the student will be asked to remove their costume.
Please no masks, blood, super scary stuff, general ickiness, or weapons
Please no cigars or cigarette items
Please no bare tummies
Please keep hair coloring and make-up simple
