Dear Families,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. I am so honored to serve as the Principal of Country Meadows! From my short time here, I can already sense that this community is positive, vibrant, engaged and invested which makes me so proud to be part of the Country Meadows family!
This is my first year in District 96 but prior to my principalship, I was an assistant principal, literacy coach, reading specialist, and a classroom teacher. I have enjoyed my time in each role but excited to be starting a new chapter. I am looking forward to meeting many of the families in the upcoming school year. Please feel free to stop by to say hello!
I am committed to ensuring positive student experiences and it is my priority to partner with families. I truly believe in the impact of strong family and school relationships and I am looking forward to getting to know all the families. Here is a little about my family! My husband and I have a son who is going into fourth grade and a daughter that will be in first grade this upcoming school year.

NEW *August 17 ~ First Day of School*
The first day of school is Thursday, August 17th. It is a half-day, from 8:25-11:45. On the first day of school, we will have extra staff at all entrances and outside the building to support student arrival and dismissal.
NEW *Class Placement Information & Bus Information*
Your child’s class placement and bus information, if applicable, will come to you electronically on Friday, August 11th. This information is delivered in two separate emails, coming after 3:00 PM. A team of staff members worked diligently to make sure each child was placed in the classroom in which he or she will find continued success. We know you appreciate the fact that, with such careful thought and consideration put into these decisions, including your input, no changes will be made and we thank you for your support. This year’s class lists were developed with the following teaching teams in place to ensure student success.

Families will receive an email on Monday, August 7th, from Kildeer96 Food Service with a subject line of “D96 Food Service Information” that will include information on the District's online meal pre-payment system and online application site.
