Country Meadows Principal's Message - June 2, 2023

Country Meadows Principal's Message - June 2, 2023

Welcome to Summer Break, we made it!  Today is our last edition of the Principal’s Message for this school year.  I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have shared together. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of this remarkable elementary school, and I am filled with gratitude for the trust and support you have bestowed upon me and our dedicated team of educators.

To our students, you are the heart and soul of our school. Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and boundless energy have brought life to our classrooms and hallways. It has been a joy to witness your growth, both academically and personally, as you have embraced new challenges and discovered your own strengths. Remember, the lessons you have learned extend far beyond the confines of our school walls. Carry with you the values of kindness, resilience, and a love for learning as you continue to flourish in your educational journey.

To our families, thank you for your unwavering commitment to your child's education. Your partnership and active involvement have been instrumental in creating a nurturing and supportive environment. Whether you volunteered in the classroom, attended family-educator conferences, or cheered on our students at various events, your presence has made a significant impact. Your dedication to fostering a love of learning in your children is truly commendable.

As I bid farewell to this exceptional community, I leave with a sense of pride and optimism. The memories we have created together will forever hold a special place in my heart. The bonds forged among students, families, and staff will endure, and the spirit of unity and collaboration will continue to thrive.

While I will be moving on to new adventures, I want to assure you that the commitment to your child's education and well-being will continue to be a top priority at Country Meadows. Mrs. Lempke and Mrs. Shaver are experienced and dedicated professionals who will lead Country Meadows with passion and excellence. I have every confidence that they will continue to nurture the incredible potential of each student and uphold the values that make our school special.

Finally, I would like to wish you all a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break. Take this time to relax, rejuvenate, and create lasting memories with your family.

Best wishes,

Michelle

Repeat *2023 Elementary School Principal's Message - Summer Reading*

This summer, we want students to experience the pure joy of reading. Since the purpose of summer reading is to help foster a love of reading, we strongly feel that students should read a book that is of high interest to them and close to the difficulty level of text they would encounter during the school year.

To support our elementary students in continuing to read over the summer, each grade level has a recommended reading list, as well as optional reading lessons that can be completed independently by students. Both the lists and the summer reading lessons can be found on our district website.
