Country Meadows Principal's Message - August 6th

Country Meadows Principal's Message - August 6th

Country Meadows Families,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  We are so excited to see all of our Country Meadows Cubs in just a few short weeks, and we are looking forward to a successful school year full of learning, fun, and success for all!

If you are new to our Country Meadows family, welcome!  We are so glad you're here! As I begin my 4th year as principal at Country Meadows, I am so very proud of our positive and vibrant school community.  Country Meadows students, families, and dedicated staff make our school the very best place for each and every one of our students to succeed.  It is a true honor and privilege to serve our community by fulfilling, what I like to call, the very best job in the world.

Upon returning from maternity leave at the end of June, it was evident that our staff and students had not skipped a beat.  I am so appreciative of all of the warm wishes and welcomes our sweet baby boy, Waylon, received from our Country Meadows family these past four months.  We made sure that July was a month of relaxation and fun for the Bird family, as I hope it was for all of you.  Conrad and I spent time adjusting to our life as a family of four with our daughter (Maisie) and son (Waylon).

As we begin another school year, I think it is safe to say that whether you are a family new to our school community, beginning your last year at Country Meadows, or somewhere on the journey in between, the pandemic has challenged us all in ways we could not have imagined.  With that being said, we are beyond ready and excited to welcome all of our students back to school while we uphold a safe and comfortable learning environment for all.

The Country Meadows staff and I are looking forward to seeing you and your children in the very near future.  We deeply value our partnership and, as always, are so appreciative of your continued support as we begin this school year.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any your questions!

Kindly,

Meghan Bird - Principal
